Hi,

How long does it take now a days to change status to "RECEIVED BY VISA OFFICE" after VO receive full application.

My full application was received by Singapore VO on 18th June, bu till now, My status is still "CIO ELIGIBILITY REVIEW COMPLETE", still haven't changed to "RECEIVED BY VISA OFFICE". Is something going wrong SG VO??

Please share your experience.

In my case it takes two weeks.

I Have Got Medicals Request & Sent it On March. Due to My Child Born I have got a Letter that I need to Send Babys Document. It takes 2 months in SG office to br In PROCESS.

At last ecas status has changed into "In process" from "Received by visa office" today on 1st July '10.

for Sohail the actual test is underway at the moment.
There is no scope for waving congrats now. Let the IO complete assesing his docs and change his status to Decision made. Only then, the other side of the ocean would be seen.

I didn't think they change ecas on Canada day so that I haven't checked my status yet. I read Sohai post and check mine ........and it is "IN PROCESS" too............so happy now ....

For those of you who are not from IT, be informed that in Computer Database anything can change at a certain time. Its called trigger. Status could well be changed in Canada day or at the time IO is in the washroom (lol) or if he sets a time or date at which the process(s) has to be changed. When the system ticks that particular time, the trigger gets pulled and the information is updated.

Congrats! Its a good sign that processing has commenced after the NOC list change. There are very less cases rejected after the In process stage. Only medically inadmissibility and security checks are the ones to be worried of.

Hi Sohail ,

What do you receive with medical forms? do you receive PPR with you? I am just curious and I think my medical will come this week. I am living in Canada so maybe it takes a while to receive my medical forms by posts.
