Full Documents sent in October 2010 New Delhi VO

Dear PTV7425,

I got email from CIO on sep 30th and I have submitted my full application to new delhi on OCT 13th.

I got 2nd AOR dated 18th November 2010.

We both are sailing in the same boat including NOC is also same.0213

CIO recieved date not new delhi docs received date.

my case application number start with B and both are same CIO & New delhi.

Now I am in big confusion..please help me..
(1) 2 nd AOR which I received by NDVO dated 15 NOV 2010. There are only 2 numbers in 2nd AOR, one is UCI number and another one is Application # wich starts with E and I am not able to find ecas status.
(2)My 2 AOR starts with "this is refers to your application for PR in canada. which was received at this office on 4/6/2010."
Actually my full documents were received at NDVO on 5th Oct.2010. I have sent initial application to sydney on 6th April 2010.
Why they have mentiond 4/6/2010 in 2nd AOR????

Hey Pal,

The date they mentioned is the date when they received your application initially at CIO not the ND VO. Even for me it showed the original application date. I don't think there is anything to worry about it.

Yes, if someone can really clarify our doubts on why they have mentioned for some as File number and for some as application number and why for some it is given a series with E and for others with a B series.

You can check you ecas by putting the UCI number I think. Instead of choosing Immigration file number you have to choose Client ID number. And I think the format of 2nd AOR varries VO to VO. Like my VO is Singapore They didn't send me any UCI number they only send a number start with E and another start with B but by putting both of them I couldn't check my ecas . For that reason I sent a case spec inquiry and they have replied me like this:

"Dear Madam,

This service is only available to clients with applications in process. We may have received your application but not yet begun processing it.

In order to serve all clients better, we will NOT answer further correspondence on information which we already sent to you."

Don't worry may be they are updating their website for better assistance. Keep praying for you and for us as well.

As I said it earlier, I am able to access the e-CAS with the the UCI number by selecting the Client ID AND with the old file number (Bxxxx...) by selecting the file number. We are not able to check the e-CAS status using the new file number (Exxxxx...)

As someone said in another discussion in this very forum, possible they are assigning the E series as the new file number to all those that applied before Sep and yet to create a file number for the people who submitted the full docs after Sep.

I got my 2nd AOR today through regular post from Vo, ND .

It has UCI and a new number starting with ' EXXXXXXX'

rest of the contents are same as others have posted.

Also, the letter was dated November 26th..

So things have started moving....

Even i got the 2nd AOR letter delivered today at my place. It has a UCI no. and application no starting with EXXXXXXXx

I think so it will take 6-8 months for medicals after 2nd AOR..
