hi Patrick and all,
yes I did see that last week and it is really upsetting me / us but looking at other offices we are still on the fast track comparing to other offices but why did they slow down I have no idea, I cant see many applicants for damascus . anyway, we just have to wait and I am hoping to hear from them by tomorrow and they close early so if not by tomorrow it will be by sunday since they close on friday and saturday. good luck to you all

Hi Patrick & Kamal,
I am very hopeful that you guys will get your visa soon! :)

Hi,

Latest update just got my PPR through email last 12th of Aug 2010.

Sent passport- 13th of Aug 2010.

All the very best to everyone whose waiting patiently for positive outcome from visa office. :)

Gongratulations ndpadin,
I am so glad for you and all the best
I spoke today to my lawyer and he adviced me not to call the embassy myself
He mentioned that my case should be finishing soon and shortly we should hear from damascus
as we are all aware no one can make the embassy rush in their decision and we all have to wait for the processing time
I am so frustrated and hoping to hear from them soon and again all the best for ndpadin

Dear ndpadin,.
Congratulations! This is awesome! I hope you get your visa soon and be among the first to get visa among April applicants. I also hope Kalam, and Patrick join you in getting their visas soon.
Please pray for others so that we all hear good news soon.
Ye! Rock on April Applicants! Yeee! :D

Thanks for the best wishes. Actually, I'm on my six months of pregnancy and i have already informed them when I submitted my RPRF. Now my worries is that if I get my visa very soon, how could I declare my additional dependent. Are they will still allow me to add him considering we got already our visa or to sponsor him later. Going to Canada in my 7 months of pregnancy is not our option yet this time because of very limited time to set up everything plus I still need to finish my contract with my present employer which will end up this coming January 2011.

Appreciate any opinion please.

Dear ndpadin,
Have you done your medical while you were pregnant? You could have asked the visa office to extend the deadline so that after giving birth to your baby you undergo medical tests. Anyway, if you have informed visa office about your pregnancy, I think there shouldn't be any problem and they will guide you what to do.

Hi ndpadin,
double congratulations, visa soon and baby after
yes you may have informed them about your pregnancy during your medical however when they issued the visa they will give you time to get ready which vary from one office to another almost around six months so give it another 3 to 4 weeks to get your passport back with visa stamped along with a letter telling you when you should land with an expiry date and this will give you time to finish your contract and have your baby, another option come and land and welcome to canada and go back finish your business as many have done on other threads

Plus doing some math in August you are 6 months pregnant by the time you have visa September you are 7 months your visa must have around 6 months to expire , baby arrival in November , your contract finishes in January (ARE YOU TAKING SOME TIME UNDER MATERNITY LEAVE OR WHAT/ DISCUSS YOUR OPTIONS WITH YOUR EMPLOYER FINISH YOUR CONTRACT EARLY , LAND AND HAVE THE BABY/ EXTEND YOUR CONTRACT ONE MONTH COME TO CANADA LAND & HAVE THE BABY GO BACK FINISH YOUR CONTRACT/ OR YOUR EMPLOYER MAY UNDERSTAND YOUR FRUSTRATION BE A NICE PERSON AND LET YOU GO EARLY/ WHAT IS IMPORTANT IS LANDING AND HAVING THE BABY THEN GO BACK FINISH YOUR CONTRACT / LONG TERM IS CANADA SHORT TERM IS FINISHING YOUR CONTRACT WHAT WILL YOU LOOSE IS IT WORITH IT STAYING TO FINISH CONTRACT / GOOD LUCK IN YOUR CHOICE

Yes I did my medical during my 5.5 months of pregnancy and was noted by the DMP in the medical result. To further inform the visa office, I stated my condition in my RPRF cover letter so I am expecting that they will release my PPR after I give birth. In order to comply their 45 days notice to submit our passports we sent it immediately despite of our worries.

Thanks Kamal for your opinion. Appreciated it very much. I can do Option # 1, my only worries is that once the embassy issued you the visa, your file is already closed and I don't know if I can still add the new born baby. Anyway I will send a case specific inquiry to them on what to do and let you know guys their reply for the sake of other forumers who have the same situation as mine.

Many congrats,,,
wish u good luck.
