I think the fact that your E-CAS has changed to "In Process", is a good sign, and there shouldn't be any problem with regard to missing documents. Can you tell us how long after full document submission your e-cas changed to in process?

I believe In Process is when a visa officer is assigned to your case and he will further check your documents/ background and will ask if anything else needed.

Thanks. Just for your information, if in your e-cas, you click on "In Process", in the new page it should show you that "Your case is in process since XXX. (instead of XXX the date is mentioned).

I sent the embassy an email, got a cold reply that nothing changed,

hi Patrick,
on saturday the message under my in process was changed but just to state that I am i process and they delete couple messages from the begining when my file was started
I dont know what that means but i can tell that someone is working on my file, have a feeling i will hear from them this week and anyway my lawyer is sending them a letter this wednesday to see if there is any update

It seems between Damascus applicants your case is one of the most rapid ones, could you please tell me about your file specifications (like NOC, IELTS score, having any relatives ...) which may affect your application process?

Dear smajd56,
My full documents were transferred from another visa office to Damascus, so I think that is one of the reasons it turned out to be in Process quickly.
I don't have any family in Canada, neither do I have job offer.
I have applied under FSW. Are you also under FSW or Family sponsorship?
