Hello guys, are there any physiotherapist working or who has worked in Toronto area? I'm doing the landing on December and would like to meet someone for a chat about what is like working there. At the moment I'm in Australia working as a Physio too and I'm thinking of moving permanently to Canada.

I got the COPR by post from Sydney office.

I'm afraid your baby won't be able to enter Canada unless the baby is from an exempt visa country. Before you do the landing you have to contact the embassy in your country and notify them of the newborn. The baby is not a Canadian resident as none of the parents are Canadian Permanent Residents...

Canada visa stamp in passport is valid only for one entry. That is why you need the Permanent Residency Card.

Just wanted to share with you that we got our passports with visas from Sydney Consulate today. Very excited now, we are Australian Permanent residents very soon to be citizens. Planing to travel to Toronto for a Month in December.

It is a normal request in my opinion. I sent a copy of my australian visa with all the documents so they could know that I was lawfully here in Australia. Cheers

When you pass the first stage at Sydney NS you can't claim the money back. You only can claim the money of the Right of Permanent Residency fee if you have paid it. my opinion is that if you want to apply again with the new rules, don't withdraw the last application. Have in mind that more...

Congratulations mate!! If you decide not to go, please tell CIC Sydney that you are going to give me your visa :P It seems that I'm gonna have to redo medicals again as they expire the first week of August. I don't think I will get a response before that. Cheers
