Hi jangong, travel funds were thoroughly discussed during the PDOS conducted by Commission on Filipinos Overseas. According to them, if we are bringing out of the Philippines foreign currencies amounting to US$10,000 or more, we are required to declare the same in writing (declaration form) and to furnish information of the source and purpose of the transport of such currency.jangong said:hello po. sa mga nakaalis na o papaalis pa lang, need po ba ipresent/declare sa immigration dito sa pinas na we're bringing more than 10K in foreign currency? may documents ba, permit of some sort, na kailangang iprepare para pwede tayong magdala ng foreign currency palabas ng bansa? naniniguro lang po. alam mo na dito sa atin, bawat kilos permit dito permit dun...

Persons traveling together cannot divide the amount in order to avoid the restriction. We may obtain a declaration form for travel fund at the Bureau of Customs, Commission on Filipinos Overseas Office or at its NAIA counter. We are advised to bring documents that will show the sources of our funds.
what do you mean show sources of funds?for exmple in our case my relatives send me money thru bank and some of outr money is just borrowed by my othe relatives so it doesnt have documents..And some money is a seperation payt of my husband do still have to shwo some proofs..If we will get a bank draft from the bank and remaining money is cash?Cant we just bring the bank draft and the cash and tell it that its our money and borowed by some of our relatives?thanks
thanks Gimbey. by furnish information of the source, does this mean we have to show documents (deed of sale, etc)?gimbey said:Hi jangong, travel funds were thoroughly discussed during the PDOS conducted by Commission on Filipinos Overseas. Hahaha. No need to say sorry. Ganon talaga yon. Merong maaga and meron din namang nahuhuli. Di naman din kasi pwedeng sabay sabay talaga eh. Balance ba. hahaha. I am happy for you na meron nang PPRs and visas. At least, medyo nakakagaan na sa worries, diba. Goodluck talaga sa lahat. Sana ang mga dreams natin sa Canada will come true.gimbey said:Sorry po! Thank you gimbey sa info, i've just received their notification, yeah you're right, delayed tlga coz the email was dated tues pero now lng nag-appear sa inbox ko..they haven't stated the exact dates yet pero at least i have an idea now. ;D ;D ;Dgimbey said:Hi jho111, yup I am from Cebu. try to register using this link... https://www.newcomersuccess.ca/index.php/register?lang=en-GB
I don't know why their replies nowadays are a little bit delayed. I registered sometime January and got their reply a day after. Within the week, I got a message from an Orientation Officer (OO) that I am scheduled for their Feb 8 seminar. My husband received their reply 2 days before the seminar coz late na cyang nag register. Wait mo na lng yong reply nila if not then try registering again using the same link. If you have a spouse/common law partner, register him/her din para sabay kayong mag attend. You may also inform the OO that you wish to attend the orientation with your spouse/common law partner para guided sila.
If I am not mistaken, mga sometime April or May yong next seminar nila sa Cebu.
salamat jangong, medyo na excite lng cguro ko na mag.attend kay first come first serve basis daw. ;D ;D ;Djangong said:jho111, wiat for their response lang. medyo may delay but they will get back to you - probably because the next schedule is not until mid-April.
