Hi all april applicants,

My analysis shows that after 20 march 2010 CHC ND is bit slower. I could find that at least 25 files are pending in CHC ND whose full docs are submitted after 20 March to till date and whose e cas is either received by VO or in process.

from april 2010 applicant thread - 13
from march 2010 applicant thread - 06
from trackitt tracker and discussion - 04
I m guessing unreported applicants at least - 02

please report if you have noticed some more.

so patience is the key to paradise!!! :)

True, not 100 but at least 10, many ppl do it via consultants and not bother to see such great forum..

Manek

A good analysis. I also feel so that CHC New Delhi is working a bit slow

We can only pray to God and have patience.

Manek,

Excellent stats to look at.

Since you bought the numbers out for people who have E-Cas status as "Received by VO" or "In-Process", can you please also tell, how many had applied in Mar (and also in February) to get a feel what is the percentage of peple whose E-cas status has changed to "Medical" or they have received the letter for Medical and PP.

I may be wrong, but i guess it takes around 3 months time to receive request for "Medical and PP".

SD2009

Just confirmed with Qorax and Rocky272727 that E-CAS does not show all updates, like we wont know if they have sent 2nd AOR, exact date of medical request sent, and etc. etc.

Qorax and Rocky are advising to change the address and email from consultants to our own so that we can followup accordingly.

My documents were sent by your same consultant after 25 days and these 25 days it was lying in their office like a waste paper.

What is your opinion?

Living off longest tuesdays...

Dear all,

I guess In Process is the step that takes longest....I heard that tuesday is the day when ECAS changes its status.....but not for me yet ......I sent my PP and everything else on 20th April and was received by them on 22nd April. After that, no communication, no reply to emails, long waits. Every ring of doorbell gives hope of a courier delivery boy and hope of looking at my PP...but its now order of the day.......

I guess when a passport is asked, the process should be expedited as passport is such a valueable document that it can be required at any time by the applicant and should be returned ASAP. I hope someone in CIC will read it and will understand the concerns of the ppl....

All the best to you all...
Cheers

GAURI

Received by 2nd AOR on May 5, 2010. Status is still "Received by Visa Office" Please update your list.

I wonder why they haven't sent the second AOR to me !! It has been over a month now, e-cas still received by visa office .

Hi All ,

I have submitted my application to Delhi on April 22 and received a confirmation letter by post, today.

I have a query :

I paid Permanant Resident Fees $550, with the first application to the CIO. Are we supposed to pay $550 when we submit it our documents to Delhi, as part of the second stage.

As a matter of fact, I did send a DD to the tune of $550, to the New Delhi office - 2nd stage, and the DD was returned with my confirmation letter, which had my new file number.

-Matlal.

In second stage you need to par RPRF which is CAD 490

Since you sent a CAD 590 draft and same is returned back you will get a request for RPRF along with medicals

Simsinghgill

Please confirm with your postman. Letter of 2nd AOR is just an acknowledgement, nothing else

CHD has received your documents, this is the main thing, don't worry, everything will be fine.
