I was very confused with the fee details and India website was very confusing.

Anyways, I has packaged the Right for Permanant Residence - DD already. Guess, I wont get the request for that.

Qorax and Rocky are advising to change the address and email from consultants to our own so that we can followup accordingly.

My documents were sent by your same consultant after 25 days and these 25 days it was lying in their office like a waste paper.

I do not know, why did they just keep all of your documents with them, rather than sending it to Visa Office. Ask them, what was the reason.

I am keeping the mail id and address of their office only, as I can not get it on my office and also some time courier people mess up with the deliveries at home. Also since tomorrow if any communication/clarification/updation is required then it would be easier for consultant to work with them, otherwise it will always be a confusion, as Consultant would think that you would be receiving it on your address and email, hence they might stop tracking it as well and they would have excuse for not doing so. So, my suggestion would be to keep address and email of consultant only, but keep following and discussing with them very often.

Well broadly considering,

From people stats who applied in or after Jan 2010 to CHC ND, they have got medical and ppr within 30 days to 90 days after the date their docs reached to VO.

So in some straight forward application ppl received medical request within a month. I know at least ours is not straight forward case, as documents are from various countries and background checks will take time.

Since you bought the numbers out for people who have E-Cas status as "Received by VO" or "In-Process", can you please also tell, how many had applied in Mar (and also in February) to get a feel what is the percentage of peple whose E-cas status has changed to "Medical" or they have received the letter for Medical and PP.

I may be wrong, but i guess it takes around 3 months time to receive request for "Medical and PP".

Hi,

Not yet.

It is recieved by VISA OFFICE as of May 5, 2010. Guess, if at all anything happens, it should will happen in the first 3 days of the week.
The Delhi office works until 1pm on Fridays. So the major part of their work decisions, dispatching of letters are done on Monday or Tuesday.

I see a new thread on " Proof of Funds"

Is there an issue if the Proof of Funds(Savings and Fixed Deposit, fixed assets) is shown as Joint Account with parent ?

MATLAL,

Yes there is a problem if the joint account in bank is with parents, it can only be with your spouse.

CHC does not accept joint accounts with parents, it should be self or with spouse.

I WISH CHC DELHI HAD WORKED 24X7X365, ALL OUR PROCESSING WOULD HAVE BEEN DONE IN LESS THAN 15 DAYS!

GOD HELP US, CANT WAIT MUCH LOSING PATIENCE, PLEASE UPDATE THE ECAS FROM "RECEIVED BY VISA OFFICE" TO "IN PROCESS"

Hello Guys,

My consultant received my second AOR on 5th May. Intrestingly the letter is dated 14th Aptil, just 12 days after the submission of docs. I think because my consultant is in Canada and CHC might have sent the letter in ordinary post it was delayed for so many days. Any how the time time line is as follows:
