FULL DOCS TO CHC NEW DELHI IN APRIL 2010

AFTER THE STATUS IS "RECEIVED BY VISA OFFICE", HOW MUCH TIME IT TAKES TO GET 2ND AOR?

IS THERE A CHANGE IN STATUS IN E-CAS, LIKE 2ND AOR EMAILED, OR THE SAME RECEIVED BY VISA OFFICE?

the time line is 1 to 3 months, i noticed in this forum few of the members status changed to "In process" within just few days..however, on an average, its between 1 to 3 months. In my case, this is the fifth week, still the status is "Received by VO"...hoping for the best in coming days...

We sent our full application on 20 April to CHC ND, Reached there on 23 april, E cas changed to received by VO on 3 May 2010, no postal AOR yet.

@gauri.... my file was send to ND VO on 24th April, recieved by VO on 3rd May, Ecas status 'recieved by vo' on 3rd May. please update it...cheers

hello pals
i've sent my PP, medical and landing fee on 20th Apr. Acc. to courier company, it was received by CHC ND on 22end. Eversince, there has been no change in the status. It keeps on showing "In Progress" Does any lucky soul had status change after sending docs in April ?

Hi All,

Few members who submitted their full docs in March 2010 to CHC, New Delhi are yet to receive 2nd AOR. Their status is still "Received by Visa Office".

I guess CHC, New Delhi is having many pending backlogs, so a bit slow.

What do you think guys????

Please update if anybody receives the status" IN PROCESS" who have submitted their docs in April 2010.

There are only a few March applicants who have seen a change in status and even fewer, I think only one who has got medical request from CHC New Delhi. April applicants can only expect a response once the March backlog is cleared.

yeap..u r right...there are few march applicant still awaiting for their status to be changed to "In process"...since march, VO is moving at snail speed, those were lucky who sent their case in jan n in feb...only the option we have is wait wait wait n pray pray pray....

Tell me one thing, a person who has submitted his file through a consultant, the consultant will get all correspondences.

Does E-CAS show or indicate, they have sent:

1. 2ND AOR ??
2. MEDICAL REQUEST?
3. ANY INTERVIEW REQUEST?
4. ETC. ETC.?

so that we can get hold of the consultant and ask them specifically about it. How will we know through E-CAS what is the scenario??

Yes consultant will get all correspondance.

"Receied by VO" e-cas status indicates that they have received docs. AOR is written confirmation from them for the same through letter.
2. MEDICAL REQUEST?

"Yes"

3. ANY INTERVIEW REQUEST?

"Not sure, but I guess No"

4. ETC. ETC.?

Yes, you should talk to consultant as they would have received second AOR, but might have missed to update you.
In my view, E-CAS doesn't say much, except that "application is received by VO" or "In-process" or "Medical request" etc., but does not mention that how far it has processed e.g. in "In-process" or if eligibility review is complete and/or so on, so it really doesnt help much.
