For me, Status changed to "In Process" today. Not sure, who is updating the status for April applicants in this thread, but please update it for me.

yoshi14400...YOU ARE ABSOLUTELY RIGHT IN UR PREDICTIONthey are processing 2009 files right now...THEY ARE GOING AS PER cio ACCEPTANCE DATA...THEN MINE IS 08TH fEBRUARY 2010...then their might be a possibility that some may or june guys will be given preference cause i have seen some dec/nov may guys in the forum.....but don't worry all we will get through by this year....all the best to all ...cheers..

i m also waiting for the good news... but i think i have to wait for one or more weeks... i wanna congratulate those friends who got change in their status today.... i have closely monitored the time line of all the IN process candidates and come to the conclusion that all the persons had applied in 2009. so i think that my turn will be in the last as i m a January 2010 applicant.... am i right??? please comment...

Thanks a lot everyone for all your cheering. My consultant in Canada however doesn't want to give me any hope they say that it could still take 3-6 months for the next response which could be just asking for another doc or may be a medical request. hmmm that kind of deflated me. But other than a few most of us here with ND as VO seem to be getting meds soon after the status update or sometimes even b4. I wish they r wrong. I wish I had known about this site when I decided to apply.... I may never have employed their services...
congrats to Imran and SD. sure u will get to know of ur medicals before I do if it all it's coming...

Guys..... They giving priority to those who's docs were requested first but who submitted docs in April. For e.g., if someone was asked for docs in Dec. 2009 but, docs were submitted on 10 april 2010 will be given first priority then someone who was asked for docs in march 2010 and submitted docs on 1 april 2010.

The point here is they will finish processing all april applicants and then they'll move to the next month with the same rule.

This is what they did for march and Feb applicants too. For this one need to study march and Feb time lines thoroughly.

Yoshi your observation makes sense to me. May be they are looking at file transfer date more than the date when app was submitted, but in either case files are making some progress now, so sooner or later everyone will see an update

Also we need to bear in mind that the New Delhi office would have a lot of files to handle and most applicants are either dormant or not part of this forum.

So the queue might be really long for a specific week of April month.

Well, I really hope that they clear all the 2009 applicants, who have submitted in April, very soon. It is only then 2010 applicants will stand a chance.

For those whose statuses have changed, lets hope the weekend brings in, your medical requests. Be on the lookout for your neighbourhood postman.

as far as i read frm thread dat u got refusal due 2 points shortage at 1st time...
if u dnt mind can u tell dat after how long from 2nd aor did u got rejection letter stating shortage of pts.....
i mean 2 say like after 1 or 2 months from n delhi....
