Agree mate, CVO has issues PPR to applicants filed as on 23 Dec 2014, the last from Warsaw was app filed date 13 Dec 2014

the wait has paused life from moving ahead :(

Could you let me know who received their PPR app dated 13 Dec 14. Need to check their timeline. Thanks.

If eligibility is not passed, your application is rejected. If it meets Ministerial Instructions for FSW2014, your file is put into processing by VO and all assessments are initiated. When the file is complete, it's sent for final review by IPM. The actual timing of MR/RPRF can vary by VO. Singapore sends it when every other assessment is complete. Not sure about Warsaw, but this office is very small (18 people) and probably packed full with thousands of applications from last year.

Hi Diplomatru, could you please let me know where this figure of 18 people is mentioned., I remember seeing a tabular format but can't seem to get the page.

This is another page where i found the number of people working in WVO a little over 60.

Job Opportunities

The Canadian Embassy in Warsaw currently employs just over sixty people. The staff at the Canadian mission consists of two categories, Canada-based Staff (diplomats) and Locally-engaged Staff.

Canadian diplomats are recruited by the Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade in Ottawa; they are rotational employees who have diplomatic status when posted abroad. The normal length of a posting to Poland is three years. For information on joining the Canadian Foreign Service, and writing the Foreign Service Exam, please refer to the following page on the Department of Foreign Affairs website.

Locally-engaged Staff are recruited by the Embassy.

Dear All,

I have raised CSE couple of days back and I got following reply.

"Your application is under background check review. You will be contacted as soon as we are in a position to communicate further requirements or final decision."

I have No option, but to wait....

I have a query here, since it is mentioned as 'Background check review',

(a) Is our all back ground checks completed and they are doing final review or

(b)Both 'Background check review' and 'Background check' are same.

Any inputs pl.

Hi Shetty,

I also raised a CSE on November 23rd and got a reply on the November 26th that my application is under background check review. The attorney said that's the last thing they do before issuing a PPR or making a decision.

Its been almost 2 months since then. However they had made a mistake at looking at my original FBI clearance. They mistook it as a copy although it was an original which was sent to them.

Its been 8 days since they have realized their mistake and still no PPR or Decision made yet even though they have all the correct documents. Hoping this misery ends for all of us soon. :)

Regards

Hi Hopeful immigrant !

How you came to know that they have realised their mistake.. did you sent them any mail ?

And in case if you have not raised 2nd CSE, how you would have known about the same...?

Guys !

CVO has started issuing PPR's , after a gap of 2- 3 months..

As per my general observation .. when CVO issuing PPR's , WVO is silent and vice versa... as stamping to be done at NDVO for both VO's

Last 2- 3 months WVO was issuing PPR's and now it seems it is the turn of CVO..

I asked myself the same question, unfortunately i do not have an answer to that yet. Since it says review, i guess its awaiting final review by the IPM as Diplomatru said, the check itself is probably done with. Am i off track here diplomatru?

How many of us November applicant are waiting for MR ....really boring to wait for MR since last 15 months.....

Dear l_Safaniyah123,

BGI is an inclusive turn:

The VOs reply is indicative of the ongoing assessments. It's not yet ready for final review.

Hey Shetty,

We sent them the clarification that we had sent all original documents and to recheck from their side for which they did and realized their mistake.

Thanks for the chart. One query though, shouldn't misrepresentation be part of eligibility? How can one pass eligibility without misrepresentation checks complete?

No. It's a different assessment. Eligibility is establishing if the application meets the MI (in other words, the pass mark). It's what CIO did at stage 1 before file transfer. But the VO has to do it all over again in accordance with immigration program delivery guidelines.

Okay, got that.... so the medical request is sent after eligibility checks completion, is it sent after misrepresentation completion? Basically what i am trying to ask is, after medicals the only thing remaining is criminality and security right? misrepresentation and eligibility is done with
