Dear TSM,

I fully understand your frustration. However, if we have TLU updated then it is almost certain that we will get PPR. We need to keep patience and also good attitude while waiting. This will happen eventually. Please do not loose heart. There are people in the forum who have not even got MR till now and it is almost 5-6 months after PER for them.

Even I start feeling impatient at times but then we need to keep ourselves good while waiting. Please remember we need lot of patience even when we reach Canada because getting into our own field of work will take time there. I am sure you will get your PPR very soon.

Regards,
Thanks, hope all deserving candidates get their visas.

Hii Harry,

I have heard Vancouver and adjoining localities are quite expensive especially for new immigrants.. Any particular reason why you are choosing Surrey?

I am asking this because I am very keen to immigrate to BC, but I am discouraged due to high cost of living

Hi,

In addition to cost of living, the job opportunities are lesser as compared to Toronto. Weather is a plus factor in Vancouver. Surrey seems to be not so expensive. Also has lot of indian community.

Regards,

Praying at least few of us get some positive news today ;D

Past few weeks WVO is not updating TLU or FLU, It won`t be any rejection even we don`t receive TLU.
The good thing is that People who received and completed MR in May got TLU in span of 3-30 days, After may month there was a change in updating tLU by wVO, This is also because due to elections coming by next month, SO they are taking Syrian refugees applicants.

I did not mean to say that if you have no TLU then there are more chances of rejection. What I meant to say was that if your medicals are passed which is confirmed by VO in the form of TLU, then the chances of rejection are minimum. It means if you have no TLU but your medicals are passed( which you will not come to know till TLU is not updated) then too the chances of rejection are minimum. You are good to go till the time medicals are positive at this point in time.

Regards,

When we completed Medicals on 10-Aug and hospital has uploaded on 11-Aug and on 13-Aug i have mailed to WVO with medicals receipts.
I got below reply, But still no TLU yet....But i am assuming everything seems fine from medicals, Even mailed to Regional medical office delhi.
God know when due time will come :-\ :-\
Dear Sir,

hi friends,
got PPR mail yesterday

Hi,

Its because I have my sister there :D

You should go through some websites which offer rental properties before deciding. Some sites are -

http://www.hometrader.ca (Good site)
http://www.capreit.com (Property Management Services)
http://www.kjiji.ca/ (Good Classifieds site)
http://www.mls.ca (Mother of all)

I have picked up the above mentioned sites from another post and haven't tried them personally as yet.

What I have heard is that housing in Vancouver is expensive but in outer areas it is not so.

I am also planning for Feb 2016 with family.

Cheers!!
