Dear Sunil,

Congratulations and wish you all the best for your future in Canada. I too have almost similar timelines. I got my medicals done on 14th June and TLU on 30th June.
Just wanted to check with you if WVO asked for any additional documents like scanned passport copies etc after TLU. Because in my case they asked for scanned copies of all pages of the passports almost a month back. So I was wondering if this has delayed my case for DM.

Hi All,
Can someone please let us know how the Passport submission process is. Can we send the passport to any vfs office in India ?Will they courier us back the passport after the stamping ?.
How should we provide our current postal address in case if we are sending the passport through courier.
In case if we are going and collecting the passport in person,how do we know the status and how do they contact us.
As am outside India, I have to plan my leave accordingly for the passport submission.

I am waiting for passport submission request.

Thanks in advance. It will be great if somebody whose stamping is over can provide de contact email ID's or phone numbers.

Hi Sreej,

1. Passports have to be submitted personally.
2. They can be couriered back to you, of course for a fee.
3. They can be submitted at any VFS office.
4. They can be submitted abroad also. Lot of people have done so in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Singapore etc.
5. VFS provides a Ref. number and you can check online about the status and collect accordingly once the passports are back at VFS office.
6. If you take the courier service you will also be provided with a courier docket number for checking status online.
