Hi there...

I have received One Medical Request email and asking to mail Passport copy, RPRF Fee, PCC(India).
IT DOES NOT CONTAIN ANY ATTACHMENTS. Will I receive separate email with Attachments? or Did I miss it?
Generally How did Medical Request email looks like?
(a) Single Email with Attachements ??
(b) First Email with Medical request email and asking to mail Passport copy, RPRF Fee, PCC(India). Second email with Medical request email with Attachment for Medical Forms??

Please provide information.

You should send a cover letter with the description that why there is different name. If they feel its major issue VO will ask again else you are fine.

Actually the name is not different anywhere. The name in the application, passport and PCC all are same (post marriage name). But CHC wants to have both the names on the PCC, which seems difficult as the passport authorities will issue PCC only on the mentioned in the passport... But yes I will definitely prepare a cover letter stating why it is not possible to provide PCC with both the names...

Do you think that if I can get a letter from a local police station having my wife's maiden name signed by an inspector help. As will attching it with the PCC from the passport office with only her current name...

Also, do you think that they can regect my application on this ground???

Hi,
What is the best option for getting PCC in India, went to commissioner office, and they are telling it will take around 1 month.also tried on PASSPORT website, but unbale to book slot >:( . Meanwhile VISA office need all docs in 30 days.
Please help

For PCC you don't require an appointment if you are in Delhi. You have to go to main visa office near ITO before 11:00 AM with your documents.

Guys anyone whose SLU updated on 9th Apr'15 got Medical email?

Your PCC should come from Passport main head office which is near ITO. Don't take the letter from Commissioner of police, CIC will not entertain which can lead to problem if any.

instead of going online you should meet the official at police station and tell them the whole thing....

I don't see this being a rejection reason at all. Just make sure that you provide detailed explanation in cover letter.

As you are in RPO Delhi area, do drop an email to rpo.delhi@mea.gov.in Explain them what you want, if they say its not possible attached that communication as well to your submission to CHC. It will make more sense for them to have it in written format form Passport authority in India.

Yesssss.... SLU updated. "We started processing your application on April 20, 2015."
