i just submitted my passports at VFS Hyderabad. I took about 30 mins to complete the whole process. i am planning to move to canada in Feb2016. anyone planning around the same time??

Me too submitted the passport at Mumbai VFS. It took approx 30 mins to submit it. No appointment required.

I am planning for January 2016.

I am also from Hyderabad; can you please give me the location (or a landmark) of VFS in Hyderabad, though I did not receive the Passport Request still (hoping to get this week or next week.

done... it seems all VFS got their own style of working.. In my case they took old and new both passport...

Is there any VFS Fee, which u need to pay after PPR for the vasa ?

Yeah, its Rs.579 per passport for Transmission charges
and Rs.49 per passport for SMS updation services

Do not worry, in worst case scenario they may ask you to re-submit the photographs, nothing more than that. I had seen another person in the forum (Can't recollect the name now) who has submitted pictures without studio information, he got COPR and Visa.

Did you send them all the required documents they have asked for in the MR mail.. Few of other applicants also received this update, they are on there way to submit documents(pcc's, rpfr fee receipt, etc)... don't worry about this update just send them the docs and if you have already send them kindly recheck the courier delivery or email delivery receipt, if everything is ok than wait for the Medical Received update.

Actually my spouse is Primary Applicant and we haven't yet started with the registration process. We are just waiting for the golden mail as of now and in the meantime gathering other details related to the move to Canada.
