Hi guys. Just wandering, is it holiday vacation already for the embassy? Coz i noticed that there are no more updates starting last week. We submitted our pp last nov 20, but til now, no updates yet. I also want to ask, in my ecas, it is decision made. Is there still a possibility of getting a negative result? Thanks so much and hoping for some comments

No, don't worry. Haven't heard anyone rejected after submitting PPs. You submitted your PPs already, that means you only need to wait for your pps to be returned. If you're using a courier, just wait for your pps to be handed to you right at your doorsteps. If you're using vfs, try to track your pps thru the website. Good luck. You're almost there!

Back story of my FSWP 2014 Journey:

I applied in May 2014 for FSWP under 2174 NOC from Doha Qatar and submitted to London Visa Office.
Waited for the CC to be charged till August 2014 like 3 months rule in break up hehe. I sent a follow up email around september 2014 and got a reply mid of October 2014, a very sad reply that they found my application as incomplete and it was sent may 2015. I was like, where did my application package went thru? So I send them another address and then I received it January 2016. It was there that my heart got broken but then I believe that God has a perfect timing. I got engaged last december 2014 and recently got married october 2015. Now my husband and I are filling our spouse visa app this 2016. Indeed God is still good that it was october 2014 when I wept for I thought my application was ok but a year after October 2015, I cried over tears of joy over my marriage to my husband who currently holds an immigrant status in Canada.

Just wanna encourage you guys, many are plans in our hearts but it is God's will that prevails.

Re: Settlement Funds

It is required to have the settlement funds on hand in cash form or bank draft during landing if you are a FEDERAL SKILLED WORKER. Although most landing stories Ive read say that the officer assigned to them during landing did not even bother check the funds. In my opinion, Not bringing the fund is considered a risk. Pag-isipan ninyo ng mabuti kung di kayo magdadala ng fund. Ang layo na ng narating natin para magka-aberya pa sa ganyan. Happy landing!

Hi! To those who have received their passports with the visa, what else did they send back aside from the COPR. Kasi mine, they sent only the COPR, Passport and some receipts and payment forms, some certificates that I sent, which I think are probably unnecessary na to them. My cousin kasi received her old NBI clearance that she originally sent and her original IELTS result. Should I have those back as well?

Mga Sir/Madam may tanong lang po ako regarding sa POF na dadalhin, nag-inquire kami sa BDO and hindi sila nag-issue ng bank draft. Sa BPI naman eh at least 6 month old na daw dapat ang account before sila mag issue ng bank draft, eh since BDO ang bank namin wala na ding time na mag-open ng account sa BPI for the purpose of getting a bank draft kasi January 23,2016 ang alis namin. Nagtanong kami sa PNB and ang option na binigay nila is mag-open ng account sa kanila then pag nasa canada na daw, pwede mag request sa canada branch ng PNB na i transfer yung pondo sa phillipine account sa isa sa mga associate banks nila sa canada (like scotia bank). Ang tanong ko lang po is pag dating sa immigration sa canada pag tinanong nila POF namin, ang balak ko lang kasi magdala ng 5000 USD as cash, hindi kaya ako ma-question na kulang POF na dala ko ? pwede ko kayang sabihin na mag-oopen kami ng account sa canada sa isa sa mga tie-in na bank ng PNB at ita-transfer na lang namin yung funds namin dun?

Pasensiya na po medyo mahaba ang inquiry ko.

Ang ibig sabihin ba nito, ang landing formalities ko sa immigration is toronto or vancouver not Edmonton?

Ang ibig sabihin ba nito, ang landing formalities ko sa immigration is toronto or vancouver not Edmonton?

Yes..

Since there is no direct international flight to Edmonton at the moment. You can however opt to go direct to Calgary which is via Narita, Japan.

Nasa canada ka na ba? Di ko alam pano process sa family spouse visa. di ko sure if kelangan na ba medical agad before submit paper, me idea ka po? San ka ba sa canada magland? (Faith 8) 8))

Hello dems, if you want to do your formal landing directly in Edmonton, I will recommend to take KLM Royal Dutch Airline. However, the airfare is expensive compared with other airlines. Itinerary is as follows:

Manila --> Amsterdam --> Edmonton

Any Idea when MVO will start sending PPR after the vacation. I am eagerly waiting for PPR since 1 and half months of my MR.
