I'm planning to land in vancouver then vancouver to saskatoon on January 21. Is it okay to bring 10,000 cad dollars instead of 11934 as per requirements of Citizenship and Immigration Canada., Does the immigration officer in canada strict in the settlement fund we are bringing?

Yes..

Since there is no direct international flight to Edmonton at the moment. You can however opt to go direct to Calgary which is via Narita, Japan.

Tanong lang po,

1.) pag ang flight ba may stop over sa Narita japan, kelangan pa ba ng transit visa ng japan? Kung baga ang flights is Manila-Narita-Calgary- Edmonton..

2.) Pag transfer ba ng flight sa Narita Japan which is Nippon Air to Canada Air is 2 hours lang ang layover, sapat ba yun?

3.) Ang baggage ba ay hindi naba i checkout sa Nippon Air, tpos i check in uli sa Canada Air?

I'll try to book it online isang booking lang po to lahat....

Please need insight for this, before i can book... thank you very much

Any Idea when MVO will start sending PPR after the vacation. I am eagerly waiting for PPR since 1 and half months of my MR.

Until now wala pa rin akong update. Medical result was submitted to MVO last 30 November 2015.

Yes, they did return a lot of the submitted documentary requirements including the bank statements and bank certs. May notes din na nakasulat

They didn't return any document to me except certificate of OWWA membership and some photocopy of IDs U submitted... Would that be a problem?

Happy new year everyone. Has anybody gotten an update after the holidays? I've been waiting for the PPR. I've sent the additional document that they requested last dec 3 pa. We're also done with the MR last sept pa. Seems like they are still on holiday mode. Thanks!

Sa mga recently landed, I will not ask what is the best way pero paano niyo dinala yung settlement funds niyo? 2nd question if applicable, mga magkano yung magagastos sa first few weeks day to day activities in Canada? Thanks
