PRAISE GOD VISA ON HAND! JUST LAST NIGHT WE RECEIVED BACK OUR PASSPORT WITH VISA! WEW GREAT FEELING AFTER ALL THE HARDSHIP THAT I'VE BEEN THROUGH IN OUR APPLICATION!

Tanong ko na rin po, We are living in Dubai for more than 6 years now at dito narin pinanganak ang 2 kids ko. Ngayon plano namin umuwi muna ng pinas before kami proceed sa canada. Ito po mga tanong ko!

1. Kelangang paba kami mag PDOS?
2. Ano ano mga requirements dyan sa pinas na hahanapin sa amin sa airport paglilipad na kami pa canada.
3. Estimated Air fare po from pinas to edmonton canada?

Salamat po sa mga magrereply. This forum really helps me a lot.

God bless to all of us!

Good day, everyone! I just want to ask a question regarding CPR and possibly sponsorship in the future.

My friend is the Principal Applicant, filed for PR with common law and declared child of common law as dependent. In her CPR, child appears as dependant but the child is not in common law's CPR but instead, it listed her as the dependent. Here come my questions:

1. Is this the correct way of how dependents should be listed in CPR?
2. Can the common law apply to sponsor the child in the future?

Thanks in advance!

Hello zac989!

1. Yes, it is standard that the dependents of the principal applicant should list down all the accompanying dependents under the COPR. Moreover, the wife which is the dependent of the principal applicant (or vice-versa) will show the name of the principal applicant under the COPR-dependent.
2. Yes I think so, there would be no problem with sponsoring the child in the future as long as it was declared under the initial document forwarded to CIO.

Hope this helps! God Bless.

Hi Forum Mates,

Just sharing....Our status in ECAS is now "Decision Made". I have also received email invites to attend the Free Pre-Departure Seminar for Immigrants from CEM. Haven't received our passports yet. Hopefully it's gonna be Visa Approved for me and my family when returned to us.

Thank you and Praise you our God for for the wonderful progress of our visa application, for me and all here in this forum.

Happy Holidays, everyone :))

Thank you, Lord!!! Received our visas yesterday :) Noticed that visa validity is 1 year from the date our medicals were received by CEM.

Graduate na din ako sa wakas. Sa mga fellow graduates in this forum, good luck to us in Canada. To those who are still waiting, hold on and have faith. Darating at darating din yan, patience lang talaga.

Very helpful ang forum na to, para kang may mga kapatid na kasabay mong nagbibilang ng mga bituin sa langit. I mean, waiting for that dream to come. And here we are.... What a journey....It was all worth it....

Yes, hopeful2015 I am from Cebu. I already have confirmed schedule for CIIP orientation this coming Dec. 14/15. We also did our PDOS last Friday. How about yours? God bless!

I'm scheduled first quarter of 2016 pa. No definite date yet. No PDOS yet. Maybe, before the year ends na. When do you plan to land?

Hi Karbanah,

My advice: Kung pick up is from VFS Global along Chino Roces in Makati, I think they have a 3pm cut-off, so be sure lang na before 3pm nandun na yung pi pick up. If late ng ilang minutes, talk to the security guard at sabihin na baka pwedeng makiusap sa receptionist, don't forget to mention it's for Permanent Resident Visa. They accommodate kc pag PR. Nevertheless, it's safer to be there ng umaga.

I went there to submit our passports and other required documents last Noveber at yan ang nangyari.Buti na lang at mabait yung receptionist at madiskarte yung guard. Ipapaiwan ang mobile phone sa labas, papers and wallet lang pde sa loob.

Medyo na late nga sa yo but remember, "last but not the least" and "save the best for last" kung bonga naman pala ang naghihintay na blessing and opportunity sa yo.

All the best....

Hi Duchess... Thanks sa advise.. VFS sent my passport na and all other documents to my Tita's address in Taytay... They were true to their word na isesend nila agad, so they sent it yesterday and my Tita received the parcel today... My Tita got so excited and texted me that she wants to make silip. So I told her to open it and if it's something negative, wag na lang nyang isend, i won't be needing my passport naman as of now kung wala naman palang Visa... Eh she cried and said na 'immigrant ka na'... Lol, ayoko pa munang maniwala since hndi pa ako first hand ang nakakita... Right after, pnadala nya din agad ang docs ko so I can receive it tomorrow... Let's see if meron ngang visa naka tatak... Hahaha...

Yeah, I know... And it makes all the hirap and waiting sweeter and more worth the wait!!

Hi, try mong i message (chat) ang customer service ng VFS. Baka kasi for pick.up yung docs mo. Ganun din kasi nangyari sa akin. Na dispatch na, pero wala pa rin akong na receive... Tas nung nakipagchat ako, they said na for pick.up lang daw yung sakin, not for delivery...

wow haba na pala thread dito. It took me more than a year before I replied:

Back story of my FSWP 2014 Journey:

I applied in May 2014 for FSWP under 2174 NOC from Doha Qatar and submitted to London Visa Office.
Waited for the CC to be charged till August 2014 like 3 months rule in break up hehe. I sent a follow up email around september 2014 and got a reply mid of October 2014, a very sad reply that they found my application as incomplete and it was sent may 2015. I was like, where did my application package went thru? So I send them another address and then I received it January 2016. It was there that my heart got broken but then I believe that God has a perfect timing. I got engaged last december 2014 and recently got married october 2015. Now my husband and I are filling our spouse visa app this 2016. Indeed God is still good that it was october 2014 when I wept for I thought my application was ok but a year after October 2015, I cried over tears of joy over my marriage to my husband who currently holds an immigrant status in Canada.

Just wanna encourage you guys, many are plans in our hearts but it is God's will that prevails.

Keep trying :) Don't give up.
