Im not sure kung my MMR vaccine nako nun bata ako, in any case, pwede bang magdoble?

i think something like booster ung MMR vaccine nila ngayon.
It's not required naman to do the MMR vaccine on your MR because you can go with your family doctor para magpavaccine. BUT you have to secure ung certification na nagpavaccine ka kasi hahanapin nila un (i think sa immigration, not sure) upon landing..

Kasi due ko on Feb. kung magka MR man kami this year, Feb pa macocomplete medical namin after ko manganak.
I am worried lang sa newborn baby namin, based sa mga nababasa ko, 3 to 4 mos pa nakakarating ng NSO ang Birth cert upon filing sa local municipality. Diba NSO is the main requirement for passport?

hi sarah crew..
i gave birth April 24 this year..pero naihabol q pa passport ni baby when we submitted may 28..

we got a copy of the civil registar issued bc from the city hall..
then we had it printed sa isang special paper..SECPA yata ang tawag..sa kanila din ito makukuha..
then sa kanila na rin namin pinalakad to have it authenticated by the NSO.

since medyo special..we paid for some facilitation fees..kase sila n rin naglakad e..not too much..to cover for the fare..pang meryenda etc..hehe..
we got it the following day agad..
it was accepted by DFA megamall namn..
they even asked us how we got it..kase mahirap nga daw kumuha nun..
well i guess we got lucky..

hope this helps..
congrats sa baby ;)

I was able to inquire the status of my DD via email.

First, I emailed the customer support and raised my concern.
The reponse was to coordinate directly to the branch.
But instead, i asked the support for the email of my branch.

Once it was provided, I emailed the branch (it's their business manager.)
After 3 days, I got the response by the branch.
I then realized base on the email, it took time for them to reply because the BM needs to confirm your information in their branch and email their head office to request the negotiation date.

I hope this will also work for you. :-)

How much ang vaccine sa SLMC? Is it an additional fee aside from medical fee na babayaran? Ilang vaccines ang nirerequire? What are those vaccines? I had vaccine when I was a kid, I just dunno what are those and I don't think I have any record or papers to prove I had those vaccines before.

Hi Edzwifey, Thanks for very informative reply.
Naku ok lang sakin magbayad ng facilitation fees just to expedite NSO. Para mbwasan na hussles.
Sana magawa din namin yan at makalusot.
Salamat sa tulong mo Edswifey. plus 1 for you sa matyaga mong pgreply samin.

I thought vaccine is only required for kids, kasi sa canada when kids go to school hahanapan sila ng vaccine records ng school dahil isa yun sa requirements for registration/admission. But as an adult, I don't think they would require it.

1,300 po ang MMR Vaccine sa St. Lukes Global City
MR will cost you 5,250 sa din
so Php6550 total (if magpapabakuna dun)..

So babakunahan ka nila ulit ngayon as booster na cia..

Required sa mga bata to show the proof of vaccines they had thru vaccine book/cert right? Panu naman sa mga adults, bukod sa MMR vaccine na we need to show MMR cert. proof upon landing, is it a requirement na kelangan ntin ipakita yun vaccines when we were kids? Sorry sa tanong ko.

Accdg po sa isang staff when I had my Medical exam. this year lang yata nagrequire ng MMR record of vaccination upon landing including adults. In government health centers it's actually for FREE. Right after the medical exam, I planned to have a shot but unfortunately naunahan ako ni mumps. I swear, MMR vaccination is worth it.. so hard to have mumps. it's painful even if food just touches your tongue.

you're welcome :)
it's not the exact look of the nso bc na nka print in yellow paper with NSO seal..
iba ang paper nun..tpos sa likod yun tatak..cannot remember yun exact na seal e..i didn't maintain a copy kase..tsk tsk..
pero i think your local municipality
would know..kelangan lng elaborate sa kanila..i told them na nde accept ni DFA yun civil registrar copy lang..

@ Athena: Oh I see, thanks for that info. I heard from others na hindi naman sila hiningan nung landing immigrant sila, was MMR also mentioned dun sa MR ng Manila VO? I'm just thinking if that is really required then other Visa Offices should also require something like that also, or at least Manila VO also included that sa letter? So far wala pa naman ako nakitang posts from other VO na nagrerequire ng MMR, parang dto palang sa PINOY forum k nakita.

@Andy_s: thanks for the information about the fees for vaccines and medical!

Hi,

Like I said, my test was for HIV and Syphilis, I can't speak for others since i don't know what kind of test they are required.
Some medicines for cold/flu may sometimes include ingredients that will make you positive for drug tests.. that's why it is recommended not to take it during urine tests.

I bet if you are HIV positive then you will not be permitted to enter Canada as this would impose risk to their Citizens. You'll also be a burden to the country's Health Care.

Hope this helps.

ok. thanks!
