Congrats! Just eat well and sleep well prior to the test. Kung wala ka naman existing medical problems, there's nothing to worry about. Uminom ng maraming tubig din hehe If you're going to have your MMR vaccine, just make sure healthy state kayo (huwag niyo ako tularan) dahil stressed ako nung nagpa-MMR ako, after 3 days nagka flu ako.

Yung PER po namin na received namin Aug 14, 2014 po.
Tapos Sept 15 po naka receive kami email, asking for additional documents(nagkababy po kasi kami, they asked for Baby's passport, RPRF(Manager's check), Brunei Certificate ni wife).
We send the documents Oct 14.

We are waiting for MR, nag pe prepared na po kami before we actually received the MR. Sabi kasi dito sa forum any moment darating na yun.

Can relate much to you kasi May 14 din yung application ko. Nagcheck ka ba sa ECAS, may 1st line na bah stating "we received your application last may 14"?

Ang problema lang sa akin wala pa ako 1st line sa ECAS and no email at all kaya I am so worried but still keeping the faith kasi wala pa man din nabalik na documents according to my consultant.

Napansin ko talaga random ang processing. Basta sa ngayon puro May pa lang ang nakakuha ng MR kaya positive pa rin ako na may hihintayin pa talaga ako kahit wala pang balita sa ngayon.

Swerte mo may hint ka na kasi may PER ka na. MR na kasunod nyan. COngrats!

Yes, nauna actually ang ECAS mag lagay ng 1st line (Aug 31) stating that my application was received May 14, 2014 then after 2 days (Sept 2) natanggap ko PER email.

Wala ka pa rin PER? Did you try to email the CIO?

why is it not advisable to take meds for colds/flu?
what illnesses will ban you from getting a visa?

Hi,

Like I said, my test was for HIV and Syphilis, I can't speak for others since i don't know what kind of test they are required.
Some medicines for cold/flu may sometimes include ingredients that will make you positive for drug tests.. that's why it is recommended not to take it during urine tests.

I bet if you are HIV positive then you will not be permitted to enter Canada as this would impose risk to their Citizens. You'll also be a burden to the country's Health Care.

No PER pa talaga. I tried to email Manila VO. Below is the reply and Manila VO copied the CIO, Sydney NS in their email reply. They gave me also the UCI number and I tried to check it but no status yet. Sabi din ng consultant wait lang daw talaga kasi darating din. Naisip ko rin kung disapprove talaga, nabalik na sana ang mga documents like those na July nareceive na apps at natanggap na nila ang returned docs how much more yung sa akin na May pa. Kaya i'm still hopeful and hanging. Hopefully nga lang magreply ang CIO kasi nagsend din ako ng email replying doon sa reply ng Manila VO.

MMR is measles, mumps, rubella.. required daw po sa immigrants ang vaccine na yan upon landing. Flu will not affect your PR application. Common na viral infection lang naman po yun.

Hi pizza_lover, ask ko lang po pano ba mapabilis apply ng passport for newborn baby? Gaano po katagal yung sa baby mo?
Kasi due ko on Feb. kung magka MR man kami this year, Feb pa macocomplete medical namin after ko manganak.
I am worried lang sa newborn baby namin, based sa mga nababasa ko, 3 to 4 mos pa nakakarating ng NSO ang Birth cert upon filing sa local municipality. Diba NSO is the main requirement for passport?
Nag iinquire nako kung pano gagawin just in case para hindi kmi marattle pag nandun na PPR.
Parang 15-30 days lang binibigay ni MVO na period to submit passport db?
