basta your credit card is visa, mastercard or other major card company, I don't think it matters what issuing bank, as long as you can use it for international transactions :)

Salamat PPmOm Godbless

Malamang matatagalan un matapos knowing our system.

Puro by appointment pa nmn dito sa Canada, di pd walk-in kaya kahit nagmamadali kana e wala ka choice kundi mahintay.

pano kaya un? within 30 days lang palugit samin, nakakstress.
sulat nlng ako sa CEM about my situation here.

I think you can write to CEM about your situation and ang weird that they gave you only 30 days. Normally it's 60 days kasi. Don't lose hope, I'm sure they'll understand your situation. :-)

Thanks Patricia!

Congrats m_fca...sunod sunod na yehey! :)
Dustin, write the CEM agad, that is the only thing you can do right now while waiting for the nbi clearance to be processed. Hanap kayo kakilala sa nbi, in any means you can total di naman eto illegal. Urgent and future nakasalalay so gawin na lahat kaya.

Kaya ako i mentioned in my cover letter ang situation namin na my husband is away for work. Though im not sure how am i going to benefit from that to buy extra time.

Congrats mrs_fca!!! :)

Not sure kung natanong na and nasagot na itong question na ito sa past postings, is it better to get the NBI clearance now while waiting for the response from CIC? We filed our application last 15 July 2014 and it was received 23 July 2014. I've read a few posts na matagal daw ung NBI processing and especially in cases of Pinoys abroad, it takes more time. Has any processed their NBI clearance from Singapore?

I personally can't confirm how long ang processing (since I personally haven't tried) pero I don't think it will take more than a month to get NBI clearance if you are base in Singapore. you will only be doing the fingerprinting sa singapore, then you will need a representative in the Philippines to do the submission. Check out the 2 links below, it should help you out.

question, kelan po ba nagiging refundable yung fee?

1. kapag na-reject?
2. kapag hindi umabot sa cap?
3. kapag kulang ang documents?

Yes for all 3. Sa pagkakatanda ko sa mga nabasa ko sa global thread, as long na its still with CIO, and nareject due to one of the 3 items listed above, then they will refund you. Most of the time, they will do an initial checking of your files first, kung kita na kagad nila na kulang ang docs mo, or puno na ang NOC code mo then they won't even charge you anymore. But just in case they did already charged you, and after doing a second review of your application (still at CIO level) and found that it has to be rejected, then they will still refund you.
