Goodluck and God bless. Hirap ng returned applicaitons

Saan aspects daw bumaba ng 2 points un friend mo @immanuelluna? Aw sayang naman. :(

Yung mga applicants ng FSW2013, I read that most of them were requested 6 months bank statement during their interview. Perhaps this is one of CIC's ways of checking if the funds were accumulated through savings and not borrowed. Kase andon sa guidelines na it can't be borrowed so for them, that's the best way that they would know, depende nalang siguro on how you would defend the sudden deposit.

totoo? nako, ngaun month pa lang maglilipat ng pera ang parents ko sa account ko and i am planning to submit my appliation sa august. :(

can anyone show me a link or proof kung hindi talaga pwede ang borrowed money?

May nabasa ako sa isang thread. Ininterview siya, not sure lang kung it went smooth and nagtuloy ang process nia or nagsubmit siya ng6months bank statement. :(

Next topic was settlement.

Sabi nya.. next question i would like to ask is settlement fund.. i dont think you have sufficient funds ( nanakot si ate)..
1. Tell the distance betwen where you reside and where the account is located.

2. When was it opened? Month and year

3. Then follow question nya is based sa sagot ko na ang second account was opened in april 2013 ( sabi nya OH?).. sabi ko it was given by my dad from his retirement pay.

4. Sabi given or lent??? With a smile pa si ate.. so sabi ko putely given as i dont have the capacity to lend from external financial institutions as i cannot pay the interest and the credit term is quite strict.

5. Do you have siblings?? Sabi ko i have 2 brothers.

6. Dont they need the money also?. Sabi ko when we decides to apply, i ask for a family meeting..my 2 brothers dont nees it as they are earning so much and both of them consented.

7. Did your father receives a service churva ( nakalimutan ko ang word pero nire-phrase nya saying lump sum amount ba for the nuber of years serve and how much)

8. How much is given to you? Dont theyyour oarents need the money? Sabi ko for now no because he is receiving pension from sss and also my mom is still working..

Ayon, na tapos din..

Then at the end sabi nya "Thank you for coming here, i send an email containing the next step to further process you application.. just wait within 2 weeks time.." with a smile si ate..

Take note, make eye-to-eye contact.. pag intimidating na, wag bibigay..fight mo trabaho mo.. ako ginamit ko pagka-teacher..meron pa akong hand gestures in explaining, meron pang flowchart yung step by step.. then meron pa akong jargons ginamit..

Kung tingin nyo d xa convinced, explain more.. then kung d ka sure sa question, magtanong. Bawal ang assuming..

In a perfect scenario kasi, it is not adviseable to "borrow" for POF (at least 50% of it or more) kasi you will use this when you move - to support yourself and family. Pero in reality, hindi naiiwasan ang magloan for the POF pero it's a risk we'll have to ask ourselves kung kaya or gusto ba natin i-take. :)

Here's what's stated for the Proof of Funds:

You must show that you have enough money to support yourself and your family after you get to Canada. You cannot borrow this money from another person. You must be able to use this money to pay the costs of living for your family (even if they are not coming with you).
You will need to show proof to the Canadian visa office in your home country that you have enough money when you apply to immigrate.

So un remaining years of work mo, dapat ba related din sa NOC na inaapplyan mo? Like ako, 1212 un plan ko applyan. 1.5yrs na ako as of now pero un remaining years ko, accounting clerk. ok lang ba yun?

Pagkakaalam ko, Hindi pwede yun. May nabasa ako sa global forum na inexplain Nya Kung bakit Hindi pwede na joint account with any relative - that includes parents, siblings, and children.

Ang sabi sa akin ng BDO manager nung kumuha ako ng bank cert, May mga instances daw tlaga na tumatawag sa kanila ang embassy to confirm the status of your account - current balance, when was the account opened, random activities for the last 6-12 months, and kino-confirm Kung nag issue ba tlaga ang bank ng certificate.

Pero ang pagkakaalam ko, tatawag lang sila Kung Hindi sila convinced na you are capable of having such amount. Ex. Pero they will give you a chance naman to explain bakit bigla May ganung kalaking deposit ka... Hehehe! Kidding aside, if they call u for interview to explain settlement funds, you can show your spouse's pay slip (considering he is earning na Medyo malaki), other bank accounts, proof of other income (nag dedeal ka ba ng Avon o Kung Anong sideline), proof of business (Kung May negosyo), proof of sale of property (binenta nyo Bahay o kotse kaya biglang May malaking pera na deposit).

Ex.
NOC 2173 - 1 year
NOC 3012 - 3 years
NOC 0111 - 2 years

Total = 6 years

Then ang inapplyan mo is ang NOC 2173, so ang points na ibibigay sayo is 9 points lang,
Hindi 15 points because of the 6 years total experience.

Thus the reason mas ok tlaga sobra ang points just in case Mali ang assessment mo sa points mo. Buti na yung sobra kesa kulang.. Dba?

Provident fund from your employer is another fund that you can use.
Yan ang ginamit ko noon as it was valued 500k, kahit konti lang ang savings ko..

Can't believe it only took WES 3 days to complete my ECA! :o :o :o
Akala ko tuloy, rejected or something yung application ko!
My 4 year BSN degree is equivalent to a 3 year Bachelor degree in Canada.
Makakapag work ba ako kaagad don or I need to study pa?
Should it be an essay?

Yup, avoid borrowed money. If you can't avoid, you can plan it ahead of time (longer than 6 months). I know mahirap talagang makaipon ng ganun lalo na sa country natin. Kahit saang visa requirements naman pati sa US visitor visa talagang todo tingin sila sa Proof of Funds. Sometimes if you earn significant enough, di na sila magdududa sa POF. Like kahapon, nag apply ako ng US visa, sabi ko self funded trip. Tiningnan lang nila COE ko proving I am earning PHP 1.6M/year, so di nila hiningi POF. They can extrapolate based on your salary... Bottomline, be prepared, if you will be applying in any program, get it well planned and consider a time table regardless of whatever your means is.
