hello everyone!
question lang po.
me and my husband plan to land in canada may 2016 tatapusin q sna contract ko sa current work ko (january 2017).
so after landing, i plan to stay in canada for 2 wks only and then return back home to finish my contract. so hnd ko na maantay ang PR card. anyone here who knows someone na umalis ng canada ng wla ang PR card??
bale imemail nlng ng husband ko sken kc maiiwan xa sa canada tpos habol ako jan 2017. is this a safe move or not? kc may nababasa kami na risky dw. pls enlighten us.

5th line last night. Medical results received.

MR, RPRF and PPR at the same time last Nov.12. Passport at the Visa Office last Monday, 24th. Lapit na! Kelan ka namin makukuha VOH?

Hi chocoks77!! Congrats sa updates mo!
Sa ecas ko from medicals received it took 1 day to ppr.
Tapos from pp received to DM 7 days
DM to VOH 8 DAYS.
Most likely mag DM ka na tom or sa tuesday or baka monday assuming wala holiday si cem. Tapos a week from that or less mag VOH ka na. Most likely 7th of dec! God bless!

My Tita and cousins went for just 2weeks (during Christmas break) kasi my cousins were still in school that time... They just went para lang makapag land for the first time... Since andun na ang Tito ko (nauna cya for a year), then nagpaiwan lang din, he was the one who received their PR cards. so I think it's okay... But i better ask the CEM regarding what they know about it.

taga Cebu? same route here pero im planning to fly April/May when the snow is melting. Baka mahirapan ako mag adjust kung January, I am single and no family over there.

hi maplesyrupyummy.. we'll be doing the same.. will land on may 2016 too.. my husband and my son will land just for week and will be back in HK since my hubby is working there.. i will stay to receive their PR card.. based on what i read here, its OK as long as someone will receive the PR cards that CIC will send on the address given upon landing..

nways, where do you book your tix? im looking for cheap tix for 3 persons..

Dear all,

Want to share good information that we got our passports with Visa stamped on it and COPR from Manila VO few days ago.

However, there a missing information on COPR on place of birth. Does it make any trouble in port of entry? or will be updated while doing landing at the port of entry ? OR shall I write to Manila VO ? appreciate your reply in ENGLISH.

im still using my maiden name, same thing I did not change my passport and other documents before I applied and landed here. Better call cic regarding your concern, you have to change your passport since that's your ID and everything has to match with that.

Curious lang po, big deal ba sa Canada if the spouse decides to use her maiden name rather than using her husband's last name to be consistent with the documents (i.e. CoPR, passport)?
Available naman ang marriage certificate as a proof.

BTW, congrats po sa lahat ng may recent updates! ;D
