Dude you are the perfect candidate for Mandamus. I know its expensive and what-not and not all of us need to do it, but you've been waiting since Jan 2019. Take their ass to court (if you can afford it).

I did a lot of reading on how mandamus works and nowhere it is mentioned how old the application should be and it all depends on "case-by-case" basis. How does case by case matter when at least eligibility is passed?

Hello everyone.
I'm wondering if there's anyone with the same stats as me :

AOR FEB 2020
1st remedicals Jan 2021
PPR Nov 2021
I immediately informed IRCC about our newborn (even though we've been telling them for half a year, they just didn't care to add them..)
Newborn added + medicals Nov 2021
2nd remedicals Dec 2021, passed 2 days afterwards
ADR Dec 22nd 2021
Documents received Dec 31st 2021

Not update since then. File hasn't been touched since. Agents told me there have been no action on our file since that day.

Feeling a little depressed tonight. We've been stuck for such a long time and when we finally thought it would be over, it wasn't over..
mine isn't entirely same but goes as follows
sept 19 aor
jan 20 first ppr
may 20 baby addition
sept 20 baby medicals
nov 21 remedicals

Did you guys see the 2020 AOR FSW guy getting rejection letter today from IRCC on Kubeir FB? Scary af.

Poor dude applied through an agent, was misled that pay stubs + offer letter was enough for claiming work experience. His eligibility was not started until recently (his latest gcms was from September 2021). Now IRCC rejected his application due to not meeting eligibility. No ADR no PFL, nothing. Heartless.

This is another good example why people should learn to manage their own files, especially when there is an entire governmental website giving every single detail on every single step. These "agents", "consultants" know nothing better than anyone. There are also user forums like canadavisa so I absolutely can't fathom why anybody would want to pay money to get shitty advice on something for which good advice is freely available online.

I saw another unfortunate fella here whose "agent" suggested he skip on AINP invite and wait for CEC. You can guess what happened after.

I think he applied himself

Then it's sad because he was one canadavisa forum thread away from getting the right advice. Not even that, IRCC's website clearly tells you what to do at that stage of your application. A straight rejection is indeed brutal, but IRCC told the applicant beforehand precisely what to submit. Waiting years only to get a rejection has always been my fear so I'm sorry for the fella. This could easily be avoided.

Yeah same, I got good advice from fellow plebs here which saved me time. Why pay a single person to ask their opinion whereas you could not pay anything at all and ask dozens of people simulatenously without even leaving your chair?

Hell, you even get free memes here.

In the comments, he said that he applied through an agent.
Oh god then he made a big mistake, Man that is just stupid he is a construction management masters graduate and working in US by this time he should know almost all indian consultants are fraudulent or good for nothing, I don't understand how people can be this naive

Either apply yourself or hire an immigration LAWYER. For most economic immigration cases, you can and should do it yourself. Spousal sponsorship, complex cases, lawyer might be safer. Even then you have to personally verify everything before filing.

I am really frustrated with the tension that's hovering over the Ukraine. Hopefully it won't result in the postponement of all programs draws that are supposed to take place in the 'near term'. Thankfully, the target for the refugees in the new plan is quite hefty so they probably won't take slots from other streams.

Just curious, why not pnp,if you do that you have almost 99% chance of getting a pr provided your noc is in demand in the province.
My NOC is in in-demand list in neither ON nor BC, the provinces that I intend to relocate. So, I'd better wait for all programs draws to resume rather than locked up in a province that I don't wanna live.
