I don’t get what’s so hard for this shitty organization to just say where their at and what they plan? Afraid it could leave them susceptible to a lawsuit? Seriously.
What lawsuit? Who the fuck is going to sue them? It takes an insane amount of money for a class action, and everybody stands to lose more if they are even able to pursue legal action. Not to mention the logistics of people from different countries coordinating to sue a canadian government organisation in canada.

To be frank, it is an Indian tech visa. 85% of applicants are Indians. Even the Chinese are less.

It's the U.S. only non-transfer and non-academic work visa. The hiring patterns is a whole different thing.

Okay guys time to stop with the broad generalizations based on country of origin. You guys are walking on thin ice.

That’s the only thing that comes to mind when a organization is afraid of being transparent, for it to be used against them. Which pisses me off even more because it just makes them into cowards.

Agree. I apologize. And also needless to say that Indians are stuck in the H1B state for years and decades - nothing pleasant about that. Many people looked at Canada with high hopes to get out of the vicious circle and the gilded cage. But Canada seemed to betray them - us all - as well.

Technically, some lawfirm can decide to sue them. But the chances of it actually happening? Slim to none. The lack of transparency is incomprehensible. Hopefully cappucino gets promoted for the 'incredible work he did as immigration minister in the midst of a pandemic', and we get a new immigration minister. Worst case, the new minister is as incompetent as cappucino, but hey, we're already used to that, so it won't make a difference.

The number of PPRs I have seen today is impressive. It’s giving me October 2020 vibes - I think it’s going to drop even more Thursday & Friday.
Before things went shite, PPRs were known to drop Thursdays 4-5am.
Time will tell.
Canadian or Nigerian time?

You don't need to. We, Indians, got into this H1B trap knowing everything.

That’s not what he said though. The experiment already exist showing that things would be better if IRCC wasn’t a pos organization and showed a bit of decency and transparency. All the current frustrations and theories came from the fact they chose to treat us like garbage, even though studies recommend something else.
I was joking, though I get the point.

Honestly, right now we should name IRCC as Ministry of Transparency. MiniTrans.

Whatever happened to correlation vs causation.

If Ice-cream sales and shark attacks occur together that does not mean Ice-cream attract Sharks. May be its just summer.

The reason why Indians are over-represented in H1B is because there are a hell lot of us and we "speak" English. At least on the paper. Its not Indian visa. Its a visa for which Indians tend to be "qualified".
