Nah nothing like that. I have seen people on this forum suggest take pictures of jewelry and get jewelry assessment statement for GTF list also. Never did any of that and no one bothered to check anything. I mean may be once in a while someone may have had bad experience with a border agent who was hell bent in making your life tough but 99.99% of the cases no one will even ask you a question on that.

Hi guys.
Finally got my PR ( been one hell of a roller-coaster)
Been in the pool since covid period (September 2021)
Used the covid period to boost my scores by doing a second degree and scoring high on my IELTS. (513 total points)

Got ITA in September 18th 2022 but had to reapply because my IELTS was expired(expired september 20th 2022) hence my application got rejected after compiling and submitting all necessary documents e.g medicals, police reports and others.

Redid IELTS in September under a week of practice.
Result came out.
L-9
R-7
S-7.5
W- 6.5 ( asked for a remark which took about a month) score got boosted up to 7

Resubmitted as soon as i got the new scores in November, got a new ITA in novermber 2022 *2 days after uploading new scores*. (Just took an hour to submit all necessary documents like medicals police report and others, since I already had them before my application was cancelled due to IELTS being expired)

Biometrics done in November 2022.
Passport request January 2023
Got Passport back with travel details today February 15th. 2023.

I lost hope after i got my September ITA rejected because of expired IELTS, but I kept my head up and did the exam in a week and even though my writing score was low, I never lost faith and asked for a remark and to my suprise I writing was boosted up to a 7.

I know alot of people are facing some kind of difficulties but I am just sharing my story to keep you all going when it looks like you are backed in a corner with no way out.

Hi. Need some guidance on how to carry few daily wear gold rings and few neck pieces to canada.

Can someone help me with this on how to take them along. I have 10 rings and 2-3 delicate neck pieces.

What to carry or any easy way to carry them in luggage.

We listed gold, silver and diamond jewelleries in the GTF list ( BSF186 A) along with their weight and roughy estimate. I took pictures too. To be frank, I listed over 700 household goods along with this and the CBP officers didn’t even open my truck. They did not check the list. They signed the documents and thats all. And carry the jewels in your personal bag. Don’t put in a luggage.

I was 486, but now I am 480. My IELTS expires in September.
