Anyone willing to watch this and provide summary? Thanks for taking one for the team :D

I did try to watch it earlier.

A lot of fake hopium and not anywhere near the good stuff you can find rolled up in these pages (that are still somehow counting down)

Kubeir's hopium:
The draws will get bigger and the cutoff will come down because it just has to.
Canada needs a lot more people than 1500 biweekly will get them so eventually they'll ramp up the draws either in frequency or size (or both).
Also 557+ as a cutoff is too high for most CEC so they'll definitely bring it lower because most CEC are under 450
And Bill C-19 is coming save even lower scoring applicants

Peak PR backlog was 550k people and now it is 500k people with almost half under "economic" category. How can they clear the backlog if they start inviting 3000 profiles per draw?

But EE is a small fraction of it and IRCC's priority. For other economic programs they can literally drag forever.

Exactly yes I’m from Cameroon. We are bilingual here so we can switch from English to French without even noticing
Remember to provide only English documents, although Canada is promoting Francophonie, but be aware that they don't process our applications like the others, for us it takes an extra time, and no one understands what's going on.

I watched it for you. i hate that he's a grown man who doesn't know how to pronounce the work 'pandemic'. It's pandemic, not PENDAMIC...

Anyway he makes an interesting point. He says most people with the high scores are not CEC because even for CEC, it's not easy to get 500+. He's wrong about this one, it's incredibly easy for CECs to get 500+. What he meant was that CECs are too lazy to get a high score.

He thinks that the 1500 - 800 (PNP) was mostly comprised of people with job offers. for the past two years, people with LMIA job offers must have been accumulating this whole time. Not sre if this holds true, because wouldn't someone who got an LMIA job offer in 2021 just have the offer rescinded? What employer is going to wait two years for someone to get an ITA and another year for it to be processed?

I'm not buying it.

if someone will get LMIA job offer then they will go for a work permit and then they will patiently wait for the draws, otherwise it does not make any sense to hold this LMIA job offer

My question is why drag the other backlog? It has to be done at some point so why not just reduce it as much as possible before inviting new people?

It is impossible for most CEC's to score CLB9 in IELTS, forget about CLB10. No wonder most of them have low scores.
