Hey friends,
I have this intuition that they won't reopen the FSW draws in the following years since the Canadian government can already attain their goal numbers of immigrants with PNP and CEC, what do you think about it?
They will probably but they're going to invite less people I guess

CEC only draws are dead. Fraser has been very clear in his tone that there won’t be special privileged category. Scores will be high though. Most likely 490+ for good part of year.

You have to be CEC royalty these days (490+) Peasant Lambas are no longer eligible
Low human capital people who bought a work permit need to move on to PNP. Last interview pissed off CEC, because he was asked about future CEC draws and he mentioned federal skilled workers.

the cut-off score was between 430-460 in 2021 how is it dead its less competitive than fsw

I don't understand your question.

I wasn't the one who said it was dead.

However if it is dead, it's not because of lack of applicants. It's because IRCC has decided to stop or change this program.

Hmmmm,Ranting on a FSW forum, creating panic in fsw forum, trolling, is not going to solve your problem.
You have to have a very high crs like 490+ and just wait for the draw like we all did .

sometimes politicians give hints about new immigration laws but I don't follow Canadian politics or media that often so that's why i wrote here to see if someone has heard something about it on the media or not
ircc's internal memos prepared on q4 2021 revealed it, and so far that's the way things are going now. they already recommended draws to resume but with less intakes and the crs cutoff will be in the 500s

Pre March 2020 there was no such things as CEC draws. The only reason it happened was cos of Covid and the fear of bringing outland applicants in. All program draws were around 473. That will be the baseline, with actual scores probably higher
