Iv noted the letter is dated 15 June. I mean thats quiete a while back now...itll be 2 months old by the end of the coming week. Hopefully the working situation has improved significantly since then. I guess its some information for us to work with but its funny/annoying how these memos (just like the suspension of FSW processing one) somehow creep up only many weeks or months later to further depress folk who are just starting to be optimistic for good news. This sucks lmao

On 15th June embassy in India was not accepting any passports for stamping. After June 21 week after week they have slowly opening up. Still all services are not available. but it opened up considerably.

Will IRCC turn its attention to FSW-Outland, now that it has been made clear that some students wont receive decisions on time.
They may have to start their semesters online.

I hardly see how elections would affect draws. The ordinary Canadian barely knows anything about express entry draws

I agree with you. I’m starting to see this as a ‘priority issue’, but it’s the lack of communication and transparency that’s upsetting.

Maybe they have planned to finalize thousands of outland applications towards the end of the year in a bid to meet this year’s immigration target; knowing fully well that it would be less appealing to send CEC invites in the last quarter as those invites may not be finalized before the year runs out. It’s possible they are using FSW applications currently stalled as an insurance package to ensure they meet his year’s immigration target. They may start conducting all program draws towards the 4th quarter as well to add to next year’s quota. My thoughts

If this is what they are targeting, it is very valid and makes sense butt why can’t they just come out say it so that at least our minds will be at rest
for God sake. that’s where I’m confused.

I’m sure they have a plan will they die if they come out and say it?? It will at least reassure thousands of fsw peeps. With everything we have invested at least we deserve that. COMMUNICATION is key in every relationship whether formal or informal. I like to think we are all in a formal relationship with IRCC and we have played our part they should play theirs. It’s not easy to study for exams and all. I personally knows someone that wrote ielts 7 freaking times.

A one sided relationship can adversely affect ones state of mind. Silence can also be destructive. People can’t function properly. It’s not easy at all I’m not even capping here. Well, all we can do is guess, hope and pray.

They must really be desperate to call the election if they are still moving forward with it despite rising covid cases. I wonder why.

They think they can get a majority government. That's really the only reason why you call an election this early when you have a minority government.
