LOL you're not the only one, I only knew of the EE system around late 2019. I was just 28 back then, and I was about to celebrate my 29th birthday. After knewing that age was a factor in the CRS, I was scrambling to get my application up ASAP.

I was envisioning myself to be working in Markham by 2020, then COVID struck and everything halted. The only silver lining here is that I was able to get an ITA before my 30th birthday, thus locking my scores.

I want to correct my statement about August aors getting remeds, I was mistaken. Someone from my chat group (july 2020 aor) got their remed request. As for earlier aors, several reports of remed requests and extensions can be found on other threads.

Ah you are so lucky, my birthday was yesterday, went from 504 to 499. Happy birthday to me, I’m not too stressed tho, I’m about to complete my masters and if I’m in a hurry I can max out my IELTS and get an extra 3 points to get back over 500 but yea. If only we knew earlier. I have terrible friends LOL

He’s just messing with you. I wish it was tho, I’m currently looking for quick sources to raise 30k dollars so I can apply for a study visa and dependents visa just in case IRCC decides to keep playing “who blinks first” lmao

You should definitely pay another 200 USD on IELTS. 502 is super safe and 499 is VERY risky.
