Can anyone else confirm - Isn't the validity of CoPR until the medical exam expires?


That could ruin my plans, if they are only handing out 5 months of time to fly.

My plans would also shatter if i don't get longer validity of CoPR

I did my remeds as well in march and i am hoping to get CoPR validity until 2023 March.
Is your passport expiring in nov??
Any reason why you have CoPR validity till November only??

No my passport is okay till 2025.s far as I know I don't know why the missed me till that

I can tell you one thing as far as I checked atleast for supply chain field opportunities are very less when compared to torronto

May be IRCC want all of this year's approved applicants to land this year itself, thats why they might be issuing CoPR with 6 months of validity.

Then you may be fine ,analyst jobs are technically very less in Calgary (Alberta),But as I said anyway I can't search for a job now so thought of just testing how Calgary is?

No I dont know anyone but it was the same when i went first to houston.I will share my observations on calgary once i reach there

I believe the validity is what you find on your COPR. Don't wait for your medical expiry. Land before your COPR expires.

Bro, just do a soft landing and come back in a week. If you have any friends, give their address for receiving your PR card. Once you leave Canada in a week, apply for PRTD so that you can get back to Canada even if there is some delay with PR card.

Your COPR will indicate the validity, so make sure to check that date carefully-it will generally be until the medical exam expires or the passport expires, whichever comes first. A COPR/Immigrant Visa cannot generally be extended, so make sure to land before yours expires. I received my COPR in April, it is valid till Feb 2023.

Yes, he got a credit card. I don't think there is a limit on any of his transactions.

Hi guyssss. A friend needs to know what to do

“I have a quick question.
I moved to uk last year October and raised a webform to IRCc in November to inform them of the change in address but I didn’t get a reply although I got the acknowledgment mail . I read that PPR letter again and it states that before you send your passport you should inform them of such changes.
Please what do I do?
Do I just send the passport to VFS after raising a second webform or Do I wait for a reply from them?
I’ll appreciate any rapid feedback.

They should email IRCC to update their address, but they can send passport to their closest VFS. They should make sure package includes all documents, PPR letter and a LOE for why they are sending to that VFS.

Your CoPR will list validity date. Usually it's the date of your medical expiry or passport expiry - whichever one is sooner.
