I don’t think he was referring to me initially lol
He quoted a message of mine which I wrote to you and said "his noc" instead of "your noc" so I thought he was talking about you. :)

Either case I'm not 6711 either, I'm an accountant and the job market is fairly good for my occupation if he's talking about me, and seriously I insist whoever make it through the rigorous FSW program without any Canadian education/work experience bonus, can be successful in Canada no matter what his/her occupation is since these people are highly qualified young professionals and literally the best of the best.

Jaycejay's NOC is 3131, not 6711.

Besides even if he was 6711, I don't think anyone who can achieve 470+ scores in FSW program without any juicy canadian experience/study bonuses can fail in Canada just because of their occupation.
You are kidding me right, your occupation is the single biggest indicator of whether you will live a successful life in Canada or return home. Jobs in tech sector are booming while there is very little demand and surplus of candidates for the nocs you mentioned.

You're wrong. Average time for FSW was 9 months in 2019. Check IRCC's report for 2019: https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/corporate/publications-manuals/express-entry-year-end-report-2019.html

Processing times have gone up due to the pandemic. That's an expected outcome. Nothing has been made more difficult for FSWs. Same pool, same everything, just a little longer to have your app processed. It's just we're waiting for the draws. "Some people I personally know" is never a good reference for statistics.
He is right.. the official time for FSW application processing was 6 to 9 months but usually they finalised it in 4-5 months before covid

You said "Don't think he will make it here. ". You didn't say "I don't think he will be successful in Canada." IRCC doesn't care about people's NOC in FSW program as long as you have an NOC that's classified as 0, A or B. So most people can make it to Canada if they're qualified in their fields.

Having a nice job and being sucessful in Canada? That's another story which is unique to everyone. :)

Technically speaking, all class 0, A, B NOCs are considered equal under the FSW program. Therefore they have the exact same change to make it to Canada.
The comment wasn't in reference to making it to Canada through FSW.

The comment was in reference to finding a job in your field once you get here. Some NOCs are in high demand, some have medium demand, and some have very little demand at all.

Guys I have a question, my application has been approved since Feb 2020 and I missed the email. Reached out to the VO Ottawa several times and they said we will send the email again. However 2 years later, there is nothing and my medicals didn't even expire or get extended, is this normal?

Sure bud. Could you please contact IRCC and tell them their 2019 report is wrong? They might wanna get the correct numbers from you guys and correct their mistake.

They probably did not send the ppr email because of covid. You did not miss anything.

Yep. I missed the email one week before they closed. I am glad I haven't lost my mind yet. Now I don't understand why my medicals were not extended. Anyone experienced this?

No I did, I know I missed the email. My question is, is it normal that my medicals are frozen in Sept 2019? Not extended or Expired?
