I've read your JD. You really need to emphasize your duties as 0631. Here are some of the guiding questions to consider. Hope these help.

- What are the menus offered at your Café?
- Did you create the menus?
- What is your average number of customers per day?
- How do you prepare and serve meals in your Café?
- Do you help in the preparation and service of meals?
- Do you control cash drawer/s and collect payments from customers? How about petty cash?
- Do you prepare reports such as work schedule, food cost control and sales?
- How many staff do you manage?
- How do you analyze sales and profitability of your Café?
- What are the standards you practice to control quality, hygiene and food safety?
- How do you check food stocks and order supplies?

I think that’s it. Just make your JD brief, concise and straight to the point.

Does someone have any idea what could this mean? good or bad? Before kasi nag enquire ako then they replied...un nga lang Negative result... Lack of 2 points because we overlooked the NSO Birthcertificate ng sister in law ko which is in canada... after we recieved the email from them nag try ulet ako mag email sa kanila explaining and asking if there's anyway we could send the documents.. wala na sila respond after the 1st reply eto na lang ecas update nakita ko. im hoping they would consider my appeal na submit ko na lang un nso birth certificate to that we could pass.

hope someone have same case or someone can enlighten me. thanks!

@Westpoint - yes I agree with krislovesau.. Focus your JD on the food side of the business. Basing on CIC HRSDC, they are particular on one's experience in managing a food business. Internet cafe is listed there but judging from the other list of titles you'll see they're more related to food and beverage services kaya iyon na lang ang i-highlight mo I'm just wondering why your consultant didn't guide you through this when it's the most critical part of the application. Anyway, I hope maremedyohan nila..at least a refund..

Thanks for the advise.. dapat i ready ko na agad un new set of application ko while waiting sa old one to return, madami na kasi nag aaply sa NOC 0631... ask ko na lang din would it be advisable if my husband get a new passport kasi old one pa un sa kanya (color green and handwritting) April 2012 kasi expire.

tama, be proactive now pa lang na nag-aantay ng advise. Yes, advisable na rin na magpa-renew na ng machine-readable passport. Check again all your documents to ensure complete and updated lahat.

I agree. I've read from Sir Qorax that Decision Made prior to Medicals is bad news.
But I'm curious, something is unusual about this,you applied just in January. Did you check your email if you received a negative eligibility review (NER)? How were you able to check ecas? I assume you don't have a file # yet.
The positive thing is you can reapply as there are still 225 slots available.

I got my number through their email reply to me... nag inquire kasi ako before to them asking whats the status of my application and i have to admit they reply so fast un nga lang hehehe its NER because i forgot to attach my sister in laws birthcert. (she's the one in canada) so i lost points for proof of relationship. After recieving facts kung ano kulang i did try to email CIO again asking if there's any way i could send the missing birthcert. sa office nila but they were not able to reply until now. Nag check na lang ako ng update ko sa ecas since i have the number na and from there i saw un update that We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on March 12, 2011. I've noticed na lahat halos na nakakatangap ng NER naka indicate na it is refundable but for me wala na ka lagay.. so i was wondering will i still be able to refund my application fee?

Yes, I notified cic last month about the status of my new application but no action was taken on their part . Last week, I sent a letter to CEM cancelling my representative and withdrawing my old application. I attached photocopies of the following: old AOR, New AORS, MR and RPRF.

Technically, yes! I still have to pick up my old documents filed in their office.
I received a reply that said my letter will be forwarded to the documentations department but after that, nothing... I'm disgusted. :-X
