Hi Gabbana,

In you GCMS notes is there anything written about RPRF request, if so , after that do you have any notes related to any VO who verified your documents or is it only about R10 is the final notes before and after RPRF notes in your GCMS. Sorry for asking tooo many questions

Thank you all so much! I too hope it's a batch.. so far i haven't heard of anyone else who got PPR, but i'm still hopeful it will be a batch.. I'm a US resident, and i was asked to send my a copy of my passport to Ottawa, so i guess it's Ottawa.

Best of luck everyone.. I really hope to hear from PPR news from all of you (today!)

We can assume your application was processed at your local visa office if your PPR was sent directly from the LVO and NOT from Ottawa. Most outlanders whose applications were processed at Ottawa had to send a request mail to have their LVO issue a new PPR to them.

I reckon CIC conducts a completion assessment for all applicants (usually between 2 to 10days) and subsequently either elect to transfer applicants file to the nearest local visa office or keep them in ottawa. A school of thought belief those files transfered to local office do not require extensive background check, hence they are quickly processed at the LVO.

Another salient question is - how does CIC determine which file to transfer? Some opine that if an applicant has never left the shores of country of origin, he/she stands a greater chance of being transfered to the LVO. However, this theory isn't a set in stone, as some have come out to state that their files were retained in Ottawa in spite of not having left their country of origin.

Quite a number of things are still shrouded in mystery with CIC.
Just to add to CIC mysterious paths - I've travelled a lot and received passport request from LVO...

So that means when they sent you RPRF request there is no note relate to your NOC code verification and police verification. By the way I Paid my RPRf on Nov 18 th and my BG changed to In progress immediately next day. I am not sure where I stand no in my processing.

Yes there was no note. Your bg check started so no need to worry. It's just a matter of time until you get your PPR ;D

Can you still post your 2nd gcms notes once you've received it? So by the time we're all in Canada, future applicants may benefit from all of our PR journeys by reading our posts :D
