AOR Jan 11; it took me 2 months to pass the medical exam on Mar 13th; BC processing on the same day

no changes since then my bc has been "we're processing your bc..." for three weeks

why is my application so slow? and what should be the next step?

Buddy, I think you will get the next update (i.e. IP-NA) in around 30 days from March 13th and then around 5 days for NA-IP2 and PPR same day (my guess is around April 16th)! (*note: provided all docs and security is okay)

Let me know if my prediction comes true!

Same here bro! AOR Jan 11; got medicals passed on 11th March. Since then no update. Usually it takes 30-40 days to get ppr after medicals pass. Lets wait for another 2 weeks.

Looks like nothing has happened for the past whole week. The tracker indicates that they should be starting with the Jan PPRs anytime soon.

I don't think it is unique, mine is quite the same.

Hey, I thought that only those who applied from USA got the BG check status as - next step to conduct BG check.

Im fsw inland but my status is BG check in progress.

Oh I didn't know there is a status for 'next step to conduct BG check'. I thought the person meant BG in progress.

I read in another topic that it's because i've uploaded upfront a RCMP.

When you have upload upfront your RCMP your 1st BG after Med's passed is "Your application is in progress. The next step will conduct BG check"

Can you confirm that you haven't upload your RCMP for those whose have "BG check in progress"?

I see. No, I did not upload upfront RCMP. Mine is In Progress state now.

Maybe or maybe not. You might get an email saying your application (EXXXXXXXXX) has been updated 24 hours after the update on MyCIC. But PPR email most certainly. Again nothing is for sure, lol. You should hear something soon, hopefully. Keep us updated bud! Cheers..
