Hey, I was under the impression that R10 and A11 are complete prior to transfer of file to lvo. Thats what I have read and heard on these forums. However, I called CIC today and they told me that my file reached ottawa office today at 10am but eligibilty is still not complete. It is at the beginning stage! i dont know what that means. But, I think its going to take a while before ppr is mailed out. What do you think?tormentor said:My background check went to Not applicable today. Does this mean that the eligibility and completeness check for documents have passed?
That is not good news at all! This means we'll have to buckle up for a lot of uncertainty.mohitmalhotr44 said:Hey, I was under the impression that R10 and A11 are complete prior to transfer of file to lvo. Yeah, its unfortunate. Though, I am not sure what she meant when she said its still at the beginning stage. Does that mean the agent at nova scotia has givrn a recommendation and now the senior agent at lvo has to review it. And if found in order will finalize it. Or it hasnt been touched. And will be started at lvo. No idea. Lets wait and watch .tormentor said:That is not good news at all! This means we'll have to buckle up for a lot of uncertainty.
hey this is what i read in another topic, i'm not sure whether it is 100% true or not, just for our referencemohitmalhotr44 said:Yeah, its unfortunate. Ricky, that is correct. But the problem is my file has already been transferred to the LVO. Therefore, eligibility must have been complete with a recommendation. However, the CIC officer today told me that file has been transferred to Ottawa LVO but eligibility is not complete. Still at the beginning stage.ricky0000719 said:hey this is what i read in another topic, i'm not sure whether it is 100% true or not, just for our reference
STAGE 1:: After we submit our application, the BG status would be NA and it will be there until we see a change in Medical status (Passed).
STAGE 2:: After medical update is done, then agent at CIO will change our BG to IP or NBG. Then, he will start R10 check, Criminal checks.
STAGE 3:: After the above checks are done, then he will change BG to NA and our file moved to next stage for Eligibility assessment (A11.2) . Once he/she feels that we are meeting the Eligibility then he/she will provide his/her recommendation to Visa Officer and initiate the Security Clearance. At this point only our file will be moved from CIO to CPC.
STAGE 4:: Officer at Local Visa Office (LVO) will review the recommendation, Security clearance reports. Once he/she satisfies then he/she will approve the recommendation. Then our BG will be changed to IP again. This is where PPR(Passport Request) mails triggered to applicants
don't worry too much about that, i never called CIC before lol, maybe i should also inquire about my application, but i think you and I are being processed at the same pace, so let's just wait...mohitmalhotr44 said:Ricky, that is correct. Yeah, you should call them tomorrow morning at 8am sharp. You will easily get through and then we can confirm that the process followed. Eligibility is A11...which includes basically everything....your background check....employment verification....whether you eligibilty under fsw program. Your CRS points...English language scores also I guess. So yeah, it is the most imp part of the application and time consuming I believe.ricky0000719 said:don't worry too much about that, i never called CIC before lol, maybe i should also inquire about my application, but i think you and I are being processed at the same pace, so let's just wait...
ps: do you know what would be processed when reviewing eligibility? i have no idea at all
Congrats Zam7! I guess you are being overly optimistic. File has been transferred to LVO. That is confirmed but I am worried about eligibility not started yet.zam7 said::: Update :: BG IP (1) to Not Applicable today at 22:30. No email or update. Just checked MYCIC account.
I wouldn't be surprised if all FSW-I get PPR this Sunday.
@mohit - I have read my roommates GCMS notes and BG NA for the second time means file is transferred to LVO (Ottawa) and its more like a formality I think. Cheers, Zam7
