Hey guys, I hope somebody could shed light on this. I was checking my SSS contributions online. Seems to be updated and its quite a big amount. Any thoughts if ever we could get the lump sum since we'll be migrating soon?

You cannot get your SSS contributions. Besides, your SSS membership will be useful in qualifying for CPP because of the agreement between Canada & the Philippines. So, don't feel bad about it as it will remain useful when you retire as a Canadian.

You can get your Pag-Ibig Provident Fund investments, though. Takes around 10 days to process that. You will have to tell Pag-Ibig that you are migrating and not planning to return. Bring your Passport with Immigrant Visa on it as proof.

Hi miksee, just want to clarify the Pag-Ibig Provident Fund lump sum, is it really processed in 10 days from the date of your application? I thought processing time is 2 months based from the info on their website the last time i browsed it.

@ bongaces - kung loan lang, wag nalang siguro... pero thanks sa info. Try sending an email once your DMP confirms that they already sent the results to CEM. Just make an inquiry if they already have it, dont ask for the ppr include the details of RPRF

I just would like to ask if I should email na ba CIC since 90 days have already passed from the time we received the 2nd AOR through email and still no feedback or communication was given by CIC ? How do I do this? Would you kindly inform me of the email address of the CIC? Thanks thanks. I know that it is a long shot considering that many people already followed up their application after receipt of their 2nd AOR. I hope the CIC will keep on going with the review already. I am afraid that the IELTS result of my husband (principal) which he took last February might expire. Hay!

I got my MR five days after my ecas has changed to in-process. Now, if you have'nt received your MR to this date and your agent doesnt have any update too, your documents are still under review. Hope the delays are caused by the holiday season... there's also a possibility of being invited for an interview, so you might want to prepare for that (this is rare actually, usually for common-law partnerships , previous offenses and travel records).

Let's just hope for that there's no prob.. antay-antay lang tayo..

@heatspine........depends on your location for the charges of DHL, medyo mahal lng sya kasi included na yung mga docs mo naisend sa embassy before...pero ok lng yung presyo as long na dumating na mga visa natin kasi kung ako tatanungin kahit magextra charges pa sla para maisend agad ok lng basta dumating he...he...
