You cannot get your SSS contributions. Besides, your SSS membership will be useful in qualifying for CPP because of the agreement between Canada & the Philippines. So, don't feel bad about it as it will remain useful when you retire as a Canadian.JigJig said:Hey guys, I hope somebody could shed light on this. I was checking my SSS contributions online. Seems to be updated and its quite a big amount. Any thoughts if ever we could get the lump sum since we'll be migrating soon?
You can get your Pag-Ibig Provident Fund investments, though. Takes around 10 days to process that. You will have to tell Pag-Ibig that you are migrating and not planning to return. Bring your Passport with Immigrant Visa on it as proof.
Good luck!
