Nothing Yet, I removed my education and nothing been updated and return it back yesterday.
I'm not sure if I delete the education this will pass wrong information to CIC people and will be a problem?

I think I will delete it again today and waiting for last update tomorrow.

An alternative could be to mess around with your work experience such that you no longer meet the 67 points requirement for FSW: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/apply-factors.asp

You could try removing all work experience except for one job that gives you the minimum 12 months Canadian experience required to qualify under CEC. It might not be enough though and will be more complex than just removing education.

Look - the reality of the situation is that you will have to make major modifications to your profile in order to qualify for CEC only. If you are uncomfortable with that, you'll have to bite the bullet and qualify under FSW as well.

Unfortunately, you provided incomplete information in your first post, otherwise we could have told you about this before you declined your previous ITA.

Hi Dexmoody,
You are right I though as been mentioned to set the fund to zero will be sufficient.
However, I will wait until tomorrow if my profile will not gonna change then I will retrieve everything back as it was before.

However, I'm worry if I'm going to receive a new ITA although high CRS.

Regards,
Frank

Dear Guys,
Good News! My FSW set to "Not Met" and CEC set to "Met". I wait for 24h to make the update done.
I lost about 150 points from CRS but still I'm good.

Hopefully they will send me ITA in the next draw.

Dexmoody, Thank your kind suggestion and support.

Please let me know if you have any question.
Regards,

Frank

Hi Dexmoody,
Do you think this will help even there is no education certification been defined? I mean to be CEC without any education certification
Is possible to add your education on the questionnaire later? because already I have my WES.

Yes, you can do that if you want. Just include a letter of explanation why your EE profile and your application differ.

It's not necessary though.

hello Friends,

I had a few questions as below after reading this thread.
If I am eligible for CEC in EE, do i need to purposely set the funds to 0? Or do we need to mention the funds as shown in the PoF CIC page?
If we are eligible for CEC and we still show ECA's does it help increase our scores? Or ECA does not matter for CEC?

Thanks

So leaving education out leads me to another question.

By any chance, will CIC think I'm misrepresenting the information? Looking at the EE question here, this is what the question says:

Has Sugoidesne finished high school or any higher education (including university, college or vocational training)?

Yes or No[/b]

I assume, if I click yes then it will give me additional points. However, if I click no, am I misrepresenting my education then? I will of course write my educaton history in the personal history section. But since this is my second application, I want to be extra careful on this just in case...

Any thoughts on this??

Thank you..:(

CEC does not require you to have any funds. But you can voluntarily tell them that you have the money if you do. But this also means additional paperwork after ITA without any benefit. So I would set it to zero.

Education is not a requirement under CEC, but it will give you extra points. OP has an LMIA and has 600+ points, so he doesn't need these extra points from education to get an ITA

If you do not have an LMIA-approved job offer or a provincial nomination, you should definitely include your education. You will need every point to get an ITA. If your highest degree is non-Canadian, you will need an ECA for it.

Many people have done the same thing, for example for work experience they couldn't get a reference letter for. They just included it in personal history.

If you are worried about it, you can include a letter of explanation and explain that you excluded it so you only qualify for CEC.
