Miracle Story of Success and Allah’s Kindness!!!
2 Years, 2 Decision Made for 2 of us (me and my spouse)

Let me share my story which was nothing less than a miracle. I applied on June 2014 as FSW, NOC-2171 and thankfully applied by myself with whatever knowledge I gathered from CIC website. Later, I found this forum which is really amazing and helpful.

My Timeline is as follows:

IELTS: 17-May-2014
Application: 18-Jun-2014
PER: 17-Oct-2014
AOR: 27-Nov-2014
PF regarding employment: 21-Jan-2015
Docs Sent: 15-Feb-2015
2nd Line: 26-Aug-2015
Rejected: 15-Sep-2015
:(

The story could end here. But, I was not going to leave it as I have submitted all the genuine papers. So, soon after rejection, I applied for GCMS Note and received it on 21-Oct-2015. Based on the GCMS notes, I found that they doubted my employment as I had simultaneous employment and education (one part-time and one full-time and MBA). In spite of sending all genuine docs, they rejected my application only because why I didn’t explained those issues.

Sent an email letter and CSE to SGVO: 25-Oct-2015

After understanding the real reasons for rejection, I wrote a long page letter to SGVO where I addressed all rejection issues and explained them in details and requested them to reopen my file for another assessment. Although, I know after rejection there is less likelihood that they will take the letter seriously. But as I had nothing to lose so, I gave it a try.

File Reopened by SGVO: 26-Nov-2015
Thankfully they took my letter seriously and reopened my file and sent me an email that they will review my file again. I couldn’t believe it. Allah is so kind.

Site Visit: 10-Feb-2016
Two persons from CHC, Dhaka came to my office and talked with HR and also with me. They seemed to be satisfied after and told me that I will get a response by 2 months’ time.

Medical, RPRF and PCC Request: 09-Mar-2016
Medical, RPRF and PCC Sent: 03-Apr-2016
Passport Request: 19-Apr-2016
Passport Submitted to VFS: 20-Apr-2016
Passport Received by SGVO: 25-Apr-2016
Visa Issued: 28-Apr-2016
Passport Sent by SGVO: 17-May-2016
Passport Received from VFS: 19-May-2016
:)

Finally, all the struggles, hard work accompanied by prayers to Almighty finally paid off. Allah is really great. I appreciate all of you for sharing your experience in this forum. If my experience can benefit someone here I will really be grateful. Good luck to all of you.

Check your application status in more detail:

Did you know that you can see real time progress of your application by registering at myCIC? Once you register your GCKey account and link your application to that account of yours, it will show your application details like this:

Where is the Application? Details
AY 5
Application/profile status <Current Status>
Review of eligibility <Current Status>
Review of medical results <Current Status>
Review of submitted documents <Current Status>
Scheduling an interview <Current Status>
A background check is needed <Current Status>
Final decision <Current Status>

For GCKey Sign Up, go to the following link and Continue to GCKey:
www [dot] cic.gc.ca/english/e-services/mycic.asp

Once you have completed your registration, login and proceed to "Link application to this account". Follow the instructions to Link your application to your account, you will need your IELTS Test ID #, in addition to other details, to complete this process.
All the express entry applicants are able to view their application like this by default. Now the paper based applications can be linked to myCIC as well.

Hope this helps.

I have "SUCCESSFULLY LINKED" my paper based FSW 2014 application. Points to note
1. Here is the link "http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/e-services/mycic.asp" Click continue to GC key if you dont have an acct with their sign-in partners yet.
2.You get this page > "https://clegc-gckey.gc.ca/j/eng/l?ReqID=s2d8cfece0a11dbf2e924637c9437cc7c61b8e5cd7" by clicking Continue GC KEY

3.Under "Simple Secure Access" Click Create an acct and u get this page > https://clegc-gckey.gc.ca/j/eng/rg?execution=e1s2
4. Remaining process is seamless.
5.After Creating ur profile with all sorts of security questions, to link ur acct ur IELTS "Test Report Form Number" @ d bottom of the TRF and"Date U took the Test" @ d top I used my 2013 IELTS Test report in my case :-[

Hope this helps someone to see their status too in comparison with GCMS notes :)

hello bro, there are no formalities with Canadian High Commission after you receive your visa stamped on your passport from vfs. If you have submitted PCC when you submitted RPRF receipt that is all the clearance you need from a security viewpoint. As for tickets I would suggest IOM, you will get best fares from them. Luggage on standard airlines is two pieces of 23kg on board and 10kg hand luggage per person. Btw do share your timeline on the forum.

Congrats...

Hi,
Try calling them in the afternoon. I called them yesterday at 3pm and I managed to get an appointment with them on the 17th. My deadline is on the 25th.Good thing I listened to Nicksar's advice. Should they upload the results after 5 working days, I'd be just on time, or a day earlier.

Thanks Joyscent! Finally done with medical exam and COC today.

Glad to hear that RK2015 :)

They uploaded my results to CIC after 1 working day.Tests were done on the 17th May, results were uploaded on the 19th at 10am. ECAS updated today (23 May) with 6th Line: Medical Results Received.

Now, I'm hoping and praying for PPR to arrive soon as my Spass is expiring this 5 Jul.

Guys, do you have any idea how long does it take nowadays to receive PPR from the date SGVO updated ECAS to 6th line (Medical Results Received)?

Thank you so much in advance for any reply/answer :)
