Thanks Nicksar. Everytime I call them I get redirected to a voicemail saying that there is high call volume. I am hoping to have an exam next week because I am still unwell due to the haze. I am quite sensitive to dust. I hope I will be better next week.

Try calling them in the afternoon. I called them yesterday at 3pm and I managed to get an appointment with them on the 17th. My deadline is on the 25th.Good thing I listened to Nicksar's advice. Should they upload the results after 5 working days, I'd be just on time, or a day earlier.

For me they had uploaded the results on next working day and send me an e-medical ack copy to my e-mail. But for my spouse, they forgot to take the photographs during the medical examination, so they called her yesterday (Next day of medical examination) and took the photograph. Hopefully they will upload her's by today.

So you will still be within your 30 days. Do not worry. All the best.

Thank you! I managed to book an appointment on 20 May. My concern is that I am on steroids and decongestant because of the haze. My deadline for the documents is 10 June. Should I postpone the exam or should I just go on 20 May and inform them of all the meds I have taken?

I really need advise.

Alhamdulillah. By the grace of almighty ALLAH (SWT) finally got the much awaited MR mail today afternoon. Though the mail came at morning I have just seen it. Thanks to everyone in this forum for giving me hope in tough situations. And now I need your expert guidance to go the distance...

Could you please advice which panel doctor is good for medical in BD? So far, I know Dr. Wahab and Dr. Lina are the cic enlisted doctors? What is the difference between eMedical and normal medical? And what documents do I need to bring for medical? Which type of medical test normally they do?

May ALLAH fulfill all of our dreams.

Congratulations on the wonderful news. I can't advise you on which Panel Physician to choose, as I haven't done my Meds in BD, but I can tell which tests they will perform.

These are the following tests they will perform:
1. Urine Test
2. Blood Test
3. Chest X-ray
4. Check your vitals like-Blood pressure, vision, etc.

And then your all set to go....all the best!!

I got a mail from the Singapore office this morning. There they mentioned that -----In my application i indicated that all my various jobs in banking have been those where i performed duties as set out in Canada’s National Occupational Classification (NOC) – code 1114. That unit group – other financial officers – defines those who perform specialist financial work (inspectors, for example) but also financial planners. The assessing officer asked me to explain in greater detail "why I believe I perform the duties in this group". If, for example, they asked if I have a licence or designation to sell securities or assist in the preparation of personal financial plans then it will be to my benefit to provide details on this work and any documentation confirming my statements. In addition, if I perform other duties in Treasury (that is where most of my experience is) that may be covered in other NOCs then it may be to my advantage to explain how such duties would equate to those covered in other NOCs – code1112, for example.

They asked me to reply to this mail within 30 days of the date received. -----

HOW SHOULD I RESPONSE? I mean what documents/statement will help me to satisfy them?

I hope everyone here is getting close to the Maple Leaf Sticker .

I am living in Singapore (Pakistani Citizen) and got Canada PR. I am planning to do my landing soon and return back to Singapore for a year and then relocate to Canada Permanently by the end of next year.

While booking my Airtickets, I have noticed that many countries require Transit Visa (USA and Europe for Sure). Has anyone travelled through UK for Landing in Canada. There is an exemption for UK transit visa if you have Valid Canadian Visa. But during my return trip to Singapore, the Canadian Visa will be void and I won't have Canadian PR Card as Well (As I'll come back in 2 weeks time). Do I need to have UK Transit visa or are they a bit lenient about it. I did ask UK Immi and they said that it depends on Immigration Officer and failed to give me a satisfactory reply.

needing a transit visa depends on ur ticket and how u checked in ur baggage and other things. example: if ur baggage isnt checked through directly to canada then u might need a transit visa.....and this also depends on your nationality....and this also depends on the time of ur next flight......your the one to know exactly if you need a transit visa
