Yes I have similar status on my GCMS notes. Review required basically means that they will further scrutinize your application. Check the EVENTS page on your GCMS note on whether they are going to pay a site visit or maybe ask for biometrics.

In other news I think given the sudden terrorist threat prevailing in Bangladesh where Canadian nationals residing in Bangladesh are asked to maintain caution following the murder of an Italian expat, it is only bad news for all South Asian applicants who are waiting for site visits or any sort of physical verification. I doubt Canadian embassy officials would go out of their comfort zones and venture into risky situations in this situation but rather wait for the security threat level to go down.

Your due date is generally an indication of when your application process is expected to be completed. Apart from that some have gotten social media checks, go through the entire GCMS notes carefully there might be something somewhere to state the current status of your application. I have applied through a consultant btw.
