It should not be an issue since new passport always have old passport number and VISA is simply an authorization "sticky" paper fixed in passport. If you can show it, it means u r authorized to do anything that visa allows. So usually people keep fixing old passports with new passports just to use old VISA as reference point.

However, that is my common sense, which may go wrong !

Hi,

Can anyone say how I can apply myself for GCMS note please? I have already applied for CSE. But I want to have the detailed report in my case.

I have applied for NOC 0113. I have experience for more than six years as Procurement Manager. But it's interesting that they have given me 0 in experiences. I have joined in an international organisation as Manager, Procurement. On 2013 I have promoted as Senior Procurement Manager but my responsibilities remain same as manager except increasing salary. I have given them JD as senior procurement manager which is since 2011 as JD remain same and at present I am working as Senior Procurement Manager. My appointment letter I sent to them as Manager, Procurement. I have not shown them breakdown of JD as Manager till 2013 and JD for senior Manager from 2013 to till present as JD was same. Now they sent me DM in mail correspondences that I have got 0 in experiences as they feel my responsibilities are not genuine. However, they may verify my place physically as it's 100% genuine and I am qualified what they want.

I have already request them for review by sending letter of promotion and tell them will send updated JD soon as it's now eid period and my supervisor is on vacation. Now I like to apply for GCMS for detailed report. This will be really helpful for me if anyone suggest how to apply GCMS note by myself. Thanks buddies for your cooperation always. Saira

Have you got "processing started" line on ecas yet? Otherwise it is bit early to get the GCMS note.

when did you apply? did they send you PF/doc request before DM?

Hi actually they asked me on March 2015 that my references are not genuine I replied them "at present i am working in this position. However please advise me if you need anymore documents." But they didnt reply me anymore and finally they sent DM on 15 September 2015. DM is based on document not any physical verification. if they tried to verify position it's 100% perfect.

Did anyone get site visit as an event in their GCMS notes? From the look of things I will only get my MR after site visit I guess. The site visit event has started on the 16th of August from what I understand. I was wondering if anyone else on this forum could tell me how long after an event is assigned to a file does it take for it to happen? My guess is nothing is going to happen for at least another 2 months

Far as I know, conviction on serious offence such as murder makes a person ineligible to enter Canada.
