Did anyone get site visit as an event in their GCMS notes? From the look of things I will only get my MR after site visit I guess. The site visit event has started on the 16th of August from what I understand. I was wondering if anyone else on this forum could tell me how long after an event is assigned to a file does it take for it to happen? My guess is nothing is going to happen for at least another 2 months

I also had the same lines in GCMS. Wait for the site visit. Only after the site visit they'll proceed further with your application.

Dear forum member,

I am in a complex situation. I have got MR along with request for PCC, RPRF and document request on 16.09.2015.
They have given me 30 days time to comply with the request.

Currently, I am working in Maldives and there is no panel physician here. Moreover, I could not manage leave before 18.10.2015. Is it possible to get some extra days (10/15 days) to complete those?

I am going to raise CSE tonight. If anyone have any idea regarding this, please reply me.

@ dhaka2015, it looks like, it took around 1.5 month between your MR and PPR. Just wondering did you pay the landing fee with credit card or by demand draft?

In Canada immigration ?
Not yet buddy.. not yet ! So hold tight !! Cuz still we are better place thsan Afgan and Pak where from Canada still take people. Moreover, Bangladesh is more safer then USA and Only Srilanka is the Safest among SEA country above Bangladesh according to a research statistics of a USA agency.

You can send them an email explaining why you cannot get everything done within one month. In my case they have requested me the RCMP certificate and after emailing them, I had four month extension.

Yes I have similar status on my GCMS notes. Review required basically means that they will further scrutinize your application. Check the EVENTS page on your GCMS note on whether they are going to pay a site visit or maybe ask for biometrics.

In other news I think given the sudden terrorist threat prevailing in Bangladesh where Canadian nationals residing in Bangladesh are asked to maintain caution following the murder of an Italian expat, it is only bad news for all South Asian applicants who are waiting for site visits or any sort of physical verification. I doubt Canadian embassy officials would go out of their comfort zones and venture into risky situations in this situation but rather wait for the security threat level to go down.
