In my case they called me from the ground floor of my HQ. They thaugt i worked there. BUt when i confirmed i worked in different building they asked several questions to me. After ended with them i came to know from my HQ that some body from CHC asking for me. And my most superior boss treated them very well. Most of there questions were about my JD.

there has one wrong information. earlier one forum mate "khatyon" faced physical visit last year. he was the applicant of year 2010. so they can visit your work place. it totally depends on luck. and one MI2 or MI3 applicant also got interview call last year (cannot remind his name). they asked him about his past surgery during interview (held in CHC Dhaka). so this is not right that they didn't conduct physical verification or interview. i think it will clear every one.

Hey this is nazrana's husband. So Ony bro, as per our conversation you confirmed that CHC officer talked with you over by phone after the verification and said positive words and didn't say anything about an interview. Specially he didn't tell you to go to Singapore to sit for an interview . And as per Ashif_EEE who commented about your GCMS notes informed the similarity between his GCMS & yours. And informed that interview will not take place. But today's 3 confirmed physical verification is totally new for BD applicants as most of the forumites(past & present until today) didn't face such thing. And no one actually faced an interview or didn't say anything about an interview. But interview may take place. But here in Dhaka or CTG or whatever.

So some people should know how to talk and behave. Seems like ashif_eee's reply is a counter slap and you and your colleague's verification is a heavy punch for those ill characteristic people.

Physical and electronic verification or even interviews can take place if a visa officer is not fully satisfied with the app, and it can also be conducted randomly to validate the accuracy of judgements taken by vo.

Today's case feels like there has been a random check on some applications. Because they checked at least 3 Bangladeshi applicants on one day!

So I can safely say again, it was a random and sudden check on some applications.

I am not sure if it's significant or not, but last week someone working for IT service in Singapore viewed my LinkedIn profile. My account is hardly few months old, not active at all with only 3 contacts. So I don't think she had any random interest in my profile. Is it possible that sgvo hired 3rd party in Singapore to check on applicants?

Yes, after they said from CHC and it is about me, receptionist contacted my boss and guided them to his room.

Point1: they comfirm to me and to my boss the office visit is random. not for all BD applicant.
p2. they are polite and gentle. so no need to worry. At least the persons in my case.
p3. they also confirmed that they came to meet the applicant in his work place. in my case i work in different location other than stated in my job documents.
p4. they tried to get a clear picture what actually do for the company. and what company actually do for business.
p5. i asked twice but he refused to tell his name, saying that applicant only can know his/her case officer's name. But i do not know they mentioned their names to my boss or not.
p6. when i challenged about his involvement with CHC (inspired by some incident of indians in this forum ) he laughed loud and suggest me to inquire to SGVO about his action.
p7. he asked my DOB and mother's name to check my ingenuity on phone.

Did they bring any documents like reference letter, photos etc. with them? How did they match your words with your application?

They will most likely be focusing on physical verification from now on since the express entry is now in place. Physical verification will definitely mean less processing time. They will most likely experiment with the FSW 14 applications before the express entry batch is ready.
