Dear friends
I have a question about rejection possibility.
I am Iranian, and I sent my application to CIC at June 1, now they cashed Credit card.I apply for my fiance as a Common law partner. and provide a joint bank account certificate which its opening date is about 3 years ago.the problem is that, Partnership is not legal in Iran,I heard that CIC may reject my application, due to this issue.
Is there anyone who have any information about partnership and its effect on acceptance or rejection due to applicant's country rules?
Please help me.

Look first of all Charging of your CC means, CIC has done just preliminary analysis like all forms and correct details and validation. Now till you get PER you never know. And also no one knows the pattern which CIC works. So keep faith and trust on God and hope for the best also just to be on safer side, if you can get some alternative document just try that out.

Regards,
Shahid

Hi,

I am opening this topic for our experts to fill in all the Rejected reason (ONLY FOR FSW 2014 SO FAR) we are aware of so far, so that the forumites could take a look at it and have a plan-B to encounter it.

a) In-correct NOC opted.
b) Not mentioning working hours correctly or not meeting the requirement for actual working hours per week.

Regards,
Shahid
Thank you for starting this post. Do we know the percentage of rejections by self-applied / through consultant?

Folks i need your advice i had two jobs that falls under NOC 2281 on section 12a of the imm008-schedule 3 form i put 2281 as the NOC code however in the section that says occupation(section 12a) i listed both positions, will my application be rejected even though both jobs fall in the same NOC? can i correct the form and resend?

Hi seniors! Do you think my file will be returned if i didn't specify the visa office? I am applying from within canada and the instruction guide on Imm 0008 says i't doesn't apply to those applying from within Canada so i leave it blank. My file was validated though even without visa office. If you can take a look at what I'm saying, or if you know anything about this. Please tell me your thoughts. I will really appreciate it.

No, man ,missing visa office indeed won't reject your file as this is a minor mistake. You might have read previous posts in the forum that people got accepted even without submitting job descriptions on company letter head ....just self declared notarized duties were considered. You can guess job description is the back bone of the application in order to be processed. So, your's is minor, I think.

Stay calm.

What should we do with the signature page of form 008. Shall we print it and then handwritten the name signature and date or we can fill it by Adobe Acrobat?

Also is it necessary to send spouses education documents with application ?
Another confusion is, in background declaration form in question number 6... In my case the principal applicant has no record but dependent has visa refusal record so my confusion is who will tick yes on it, of course the dependent but do principal applicant tick yes aswell ? Quite confused on number 6 question. Thanks

Are you trying to say, you missed writing the name of Visa Office ?

If this is correct then surely you are in trouble.

Because the process is > CIO checks your documents and if ok give you PER > then AOR > and your document is shifted to Visa Offer.

Now the question is which Visa Office. I wonder if you can play mind games here:)

Email CIC : questions @ cic . gc . ca or

Call : +1 613 944 4000. Make sure you are phoning when the Call Centre is open.

You need to do something as quick as possible.

Good luck and all the best and do share what CIC said.

Yes. :( I read this guide and follow it according to my understanding. That's why I left it blank. This is the latest guide in FSW. Not sure what to do.

Question 4 Immigration Office requested for the processing of your application

Indicate the name of the Immigration Office which serves:

•your country of nationality, or
•the country in which you are residing, provided that you have been lawfully admitted to that country for at least one (1) year.
Note: Do not select the Centralized Intake Office (CIO) as the immigration office requested to process your application. Although you may be required to submit your application to the CIO, you must indicate the name of an appropriate visa office using the criteria above.

Note: If you are applying from within Canada or being sponsored from within Canada, this question does not apply to you. Go to Question 5.

Hmm I think that point is in your favour for sure.

But I would say please do call CIC and e-mail to be on safe side.

Why to take any risk.

Good luck!

I forgot to mention NOC code and category on the envelope label :( I know it's a stupid mistake but hope they will at least open it to check in the forms. Anybody had this issue before?
