Dear All,

Will it be better to send some missing/additional/corrected documents now or later to the respective visa office when the file has been transferred to the that visa office?

If they are sent now, then CIC may or may not trace the original packet. However, if these documents are sent post AOR to the visa office then it will be very straightforward for the visa office to locate the original file.
Please comment as I also need to send corrected documents and in the same dilemma to send them now or later to the visa office!!!

That depends on the type of document(s) you are trying to update CIC with.

Do you know if they will email the rejection letter or is it that we have to wait for them to send the packet back? I am very worried as the dates closer to my filing dates are cashed.

Some people have claimed that CIC has emailed them before sending the package back. Not everyone received any emails though as most received their package back directly.

Dear Friends,

I am working with my first company since the last 4 years. I will not be able to get my reference letter (job duties) from my present employer as I am carrying out this immigration process discreetly and I don't want to put my job at stake. I have my offer letter, appointment letter, promotion letter, salary slips, IT returns, etc.

It will be really helpful if someone can suggest me a way out :'(

Will an affidavit help? Also, I joined this company as an trainee, then became Asst. Manager and now Deputy Manager in the same function. So do I need to have job description for all the three roles seperately or can I just mention the current role?

Inputs from you will be really helpful!

An affidavit from your colleagues or supervisors 'may' help. An affidavit from yourself will not help.

Hi,

I have 2 questions when a package is returned/rejected:
1) Is the credit charged or dd encashed if the application gets rejected or returned?
2) If it is rejected/returned, how should one fill the declaration form in the future? I am referring to the following 2 questions in the declaration form:
a) been refused refugee status, an immigrant or pr resident visa.....
b) been refused admission to or ordered to leave canada or any other country

1) Name in Passport and other certificates - Muddasir Ahmed
Name in Birth Certicate - Mudassir Ahmed.

I sent a cover letter along with my application explaining this, is it a big issue? I assumed this as a small misspelled case. Only today i read somewhere that a notarized affidavit should be send if there is any differences of name in birth certificate and other documents. . Getting nervous now!!! Should i now send notarized affidavit separately, will they accept it. I only submitted my application few days before.

2) I submitted the birth registration certificate of my wife issued by indian consulate in saudi arabia. The document is notarized. will this work.

Thanks for your reply. It is actually corrected form IMM 5669 (Background declaration) on which I forgot to mention an earlier visa rejection by Canada.

please just a question on judicial review i am making an application can someone please post a sample of the IR-1 i know the respondent is THE MINISTER OF CITIZENSHIP AND IMMIGRATION but what address should i give for the respondent as the visa office that handle my application is the london office, things like the name of tribunal address and phone no. and is tribunal file no. the same as application file no. please help just a sample thanks

It should be alright. Did you put his both name in form, there is a space for if you or anybody known in another name. You should mention the 2nd name in that section. Good luck.

1 - Ideally you should send an affidavit under the circumstance attesting to the fact that both names are the same and belongs to the same person. I would recommend you send additional documents ASAP assuming your NOC is not a hot NOC.

2 - Was your wife born in Saudi Arabia ?

This will be fine, did you attached any affidavit or cover letter explaining the reason for the missing of your mother's name.

reference letters with updated job duties...
