Hi Keen2,

In case if someones application got rejected, it will be sent back to the applicant by normal post mail. So if the candidate is living in Canada, he/she may get it with in 2 weeks to one month.
If the candidate is living outside Canada, he/she may get it in 1 to 2 months time.
I've seen some applicants here got their applications back after 2 months time.

They will send a document stating the reason why your application was rejected with your application package back to you.

Hope your doubts are cleared now :)

Thanks for your response. +1

More than 2 months now for me and no CC charge or PER email or return mail yet. Hoping for the best.

You may give a call to CIC and inquire whether your NOC has reached the limit (highly depends on your luck whether the officer answering your call as some may say they dont hv that information) , if yes, when was the date it reached the cap. Then you can get a rough idea whether your application received in CIC before the cap full or after the cap is full.

Good luck Keen2. Dont lose hope!!

Congratulations to all those who received their PER!

Anyone have an idea on how long it normally takes for the application to be returned in case of rejection? I applied outside Canada and my application was delivered to CIO around Nov 26 but I am not sure whether my NOC quota has been reached by that time.

Please advise.

It will take 40 to 45 days from the date of return by CIC ... don't worry u r Nov 26th applicant and hope you will get PER before end of Feb most probably in 20s...

That would be the best scenario DSqr. Thanks for the inputs!

after observing the spreadsheet especially the last couple of weeks entries...few entries give me a feeling that CIC is issuing PERs based on the NOCs and not on the bases of app received or payment received etc. especially observe the 2281 and 2133 NOCs. This is my guess...i could be wrong...

I think you are right. Most of the latest pers were for these nocs. People call them Hot nocs. Happy for them!
I am 2172 and in this noc there are just two persons who got per :(

Hello,
CIC number is 1.613.944.4000. What is your NOC code?

Thanks for the number. +1

NOC 2171. Looking at the fsw14 spreadsheet, it shows that the cap had been reached. :(

In this case you should call them and try to find out when the CAP was reached?

Hello Folks,

My NOC : 2132
Application received at CIC on 3rd NOV'2014.

Checked with the bank and the DD is not charged till date and am a frustrated. Would like to know, how to contact CIC from INDIA. Do we have to contact the New Delhi VO or any other VO. Please help.

If someone can help...

The possible reason for the delay in getting the PER in my case even after the DD is encashed on 12th Jan:

in the form imm0008_3e question no. 12a where the primary occupation is to be mentioned, i selected the occupation (which is closest to my current title or designation) from the various titles provided by the cic for the 0112 NOC. i think i made a mistake there....i feel, i should have mentioned my current company designation in the question 12a. Although, My reference letter mentions all the duties and responsibilities which r needed for 0112 this mistake could be the reason for the delay or rejection....i am worried...

If someone has done the same as me and has received the PER i.e. mentioning the title in question no. 12a from various titles given by cic for 0112 and not the current job title, Please let me know...this will help me to analyse my case...

Congratulations to all!
