This shouldn't be a problem at all since your job description is more important to them than your job title; my job title was different too and I was afraid but I got PER and same NOC with you.

If someone can help...

The possible reason for the delay in getting the PER in my case even after the DD is encashed on 12th Jan:

in the form imm0008_3e question no. 12a where the primary occupation is to be mentioned, i selected the occupation (which is closest to my current title or designation) from the various titles provided by the cic for the 0112 NOC. i think i made a mistake there....i feel, i should have mentioned my current company designation in the question 12a. Although, My reference letter mentions all the duties and responsibilities which r needed for 0112 this mistake could be the reason for the delay or rejection....i am worried...

If someone has done the same as me and has received the PER i.e. mentioning the title in question no. 12a from various titles given by cic for 0112 and not the current job title, Please let me know...this will help me to analyse my case...

you may either call CIC at "+1-613-944-4000" (if you are calling from outside Canada) or email them at "cio-sydney-search-enquiry@cic.gc.ca"
If you chose to call them it will depend on your luck..i have tried twice and the agent would not inform me about my app status (I am 4th nov 2132 applicant) and kept on telling about sending an email to CIO to my every question.
I have also sent CIO an email about 25 days ago and what I learnt from this forum that it takes avg 60days to get a reply from them.

its your choice I suggest you also sent on email today itself and try your luck by calling later once or twice in this week.

My NOC : 2132
Application received at CIC on 3rd NOV'2014.

Checked with the bank and the DD is not charged till date and am a frustrated. Would like to know, how to contact CIC from INDIA. Do we have to contact the New Delhi VO or any other VO. Please help.

Congratulations to all those who received their PER!

Anyone have an idea on how long it normally takes for the application to be returned in case of rejection? I applied outside Canada and my application was delivered to CIO around Nov 26 but I am not sure whether my NOC quota has been reached by that time.

Please advise.
