GUYS, HE IS NOT TALKING ABOUT PIN, ACTUALLY HE IS CONCERNED ABOUT OTP (ONE TIME PASSWORD) THAT IS SENT ON YOUR REGISTERED MOBILE WHILE DOING AN ONLINE TRANSACTION THROUGH YOUR CREDIT CARD. I DONT KNOW WHETHER IT IS COMPULSORY IN OTHER COUNTRIES OR NOT BUT HERE IN INDIA IT IS MANDATORY!

Otp is not required for cic transactions. Relax. Imp thing.....do inform ur credit card companies that money will be debited by cic from ur card. They will keep a note of it and will help in not getting the card declined.

'6 band in all' is minimum thresh-hold for PA[principal applicant],

for spouse, it could b 5, even 4.5 works

Hi all,
I see some members' IELTS POINT is 12, but still submit application which confused me. According to RULE, we MUST meet CLB7, which means 4 points in all band of IELTS PART, so total would be 16, right? If my understanding is right then everyone must get 16 points to meet the eligibility, am I right or wrong?

I have send my application on 12 November and it reached cic on 17th , but in between my NOC 2173 got capped out .

Does any body know how much time they will take to return my application?
I need it badly to file for express entry and it contains originals of FSW , ILTS and most important my
experience reference letters.

sorry to know that!

but you can apply for express entry without your file or documents, becoz in express entry system you will need to file your application first through EOI thats through online system and you just have to put in your information. It is only if you are choosen from that pool you will be asked for Invitation to apply for PR & that won't happen before feb 2015! So relax you will receive your documents before that.

I don't know about your country of stay but it generally takes between 2 weeks to 8 weeks.

How many months or days before expiry of a passport a PR holder (Principal and Dependents) can travel to Canada for first time? As I know, for visitors normally passport expiry should be more than 6 months.
